I agree. I have a friend on one of those 500 cal HCG "diets" and she is not happy that i am on her butt about it because it is not sustainable. But I have to admit that I have fallen into the trap of trying to eat in a manner to lose weight that I know I would not be able to sustain, and I rebound......

This is a bit of a soap box issue with me - the online, crude calculations of BMI and resting metabolic rate. The Navy method gets you somewhat close, but not all of the way there.
