Hi! I also have 50 lbs to lose, and my wedding anniversary is in May also! I am 25 years of rotating shift work - 12 hour shifts days, nights, weekends, stat holidays - the whole shabang. I know how hard it can be. I have been through almost the same except I had my thyroid treated with radioactive iodine which in effect kills it. It was hell until they got my meds at the right level. I had 3 sold months of migraines. It gets better. You WILL be able to lose the weight. Try to be patient. Good luck!! :)

Hi AmyFett. I am also hypothyroid. Initially had Graves Disease (hyperthyroid) which they fixed by nuking my thyroid. Ergo, now hypothyroid. It is really hard to lose weight, even more than it was before being diagnosed with that. I am on meds for life for the hypo. I have been on and off diets cause I can't seem to stay…
