I will have to wear my compression pants more often, because I am self important and my own best friend.

I gave up wheat products, and low glycemic sugars. I find it is easier to maintain lower calories by doing so. The bread and sugars gave me hunger pains that were hard to control. Diet and portion control are effortless without the bread n sugar.

I found the best tasting stevia for me was the liquid form that comes with a dropper. One or two drops is sufficient for a sweet taste. I only use it in my protein shakes.

Oh yea- what I eat definitely affects my mood. When I eat like crap I feel like crap. When I eat great I feel great. I avoid the foods that make me feel like crap-simple as that.

I have same problem. Only cure is to cut them out completely. Any taste or moderation of sweets I cannot do. One taste and all in. After a few weeks of no simple sugars and no artificial sweeteners, foods start tasting sweet and the sugar cravings go away.

Genetics only makes is more difficult for some to get the shape they want, not impossible. Agree with your assessment of the pictures though. The woman that knows how to squat weights properly will have a better shaped *kitten*.

This is what I do: Before lifting weights- 1 hour before, protein; while I am walking into the gym, bannana or apple. After weights, protein shake, then eggs.... Before cardio: Apple about 15 minutes before, bananna at start of run. Basically I try to avoid spiking my insulin. Have fun.

Not just a doctor. I would make friends (online and in person) with people that have overcome obesity by a lifestyle change. Too many doctors look for shortcuts, i.e. pills and surgery.

Very tough to self judge accurately. When I look in the mirror, I see no flaws or fat. Only when I put pictures of me at 20% fat vs. now at a far lower percentage can I see the difference.
