See mine is way off. I said my goal weight is 145 pounds. Most days I'm extremely active teaching two fitness classes. Even if I went to just "very active" it would have me eating almost 2500 calories...on my sedentary day it would be 1735! That's much higher. Even on a moderately active day...say I teach one…

That's an AMAZING conversation. :noway: I would gently explain to them, that the key to not being hungry is to chose LESS CALORIE DENSE FOODS...like not candy bars. LOL! She could have had a salad with chicken breast and a jello chocolate mousse for the same as that candy bar...but not be hungry....and drink lots of water.…

I was looking into CF because I wanted to be pushed instead of being the pusher....but it was SOOOOO EXPENSIVE! How is it as popular as it is, being the cost that it is? I just don't know. Our spiffiest gym costs less than CF. I'll never join for that reason. I'd get a trainer.

Me! I was down to that...then back up a bit...then down to 152...then since the holidays up to 159. GRRRRRRR. It's never ending. I'm with you! :drinker:

THIS. You haven't gained muscle this fast. That takes a long time...but it's water weight from the exercising. It WILL come off. Keep going!
-
I just got trained on BC 50. It's amazing!
-
thats great! I started losing it...and then it came back on again. Very frustrating!

At 5ft 9 your body is in a good comfy range so it's going to hang on to all the weight....I'm going through the same thing right now. I'd suggest putting your goal at 1/2 a pound a week and eating back most of your exercise cals. It will be slow, but you're so active that it may help. Good luck! I'm in the same boat. :-)

I have no idea. LOL! On days like Christmas when it was just madness...and different kinds of foods that I had no idea the caloric intake of...I wouldn't log. I couldn't...even if I guessed it would have been way off. So my biggest days are big blanks. Thousands I'm sure on those holidays.

Basically yes. In college I took diet pills with Ephedrine and I was never thinner. Now it has been removed, none of them have worked....haven't done them in YEARS...but I remember being annoyed. LOL. But it's super dangerous....so no Ephedrine.

Oh my word. I can't believe someone else like me is posting. Hi! I teach spin, Combat, CXWORX, Pump, and a bootcamp class. 10 classes a week and I haven't lost any weight..just gained even...in the past two years. And that is WITH counting my calories. It's so beyond frustrating when you see people working out 3 times a…

Just an incredible story. Very proud of you. Amazing, amazing work.

I have weighed more after big workouts. If I wake up super sore, I try not to weigh in. I try to drink a lot of water on my rest day and keep sodium down. I hope that creates a more "official" weight.

Peanut Butter is the nectar of Gods. LOVE ME SOME PB!! I put a TBS in my oatmeal in the morning. Turns it into warm pb cookie cereal. Delicious. Sometimes there is nothing better than some warm toast and a spread of pb. Or a personal favorite...straight off the spoon. :-) I have also softened my Arctic Zero and…

Well, other than I would DIE eating that little with the amount I work out. LOL....I was 152 eating this exact same amount. That's why I'm confused. I gained weight with my same regime. I have to eat around 1800-2100 most days or my net would be tiny. ;-)

This makes me want to curl up in a ball. LOL. If I don't trust my HRM then how on earth do I get my MFP math right?
-
Hey! It's ok! I don't write my water down, but I drink probably at least 4 32oz bottles of water every day...if not more. :-)
-
It's a big downfall. I only have one day off a week from working out, so I'm basically always sore. LOL. The things like the pretzels are super rare. I wish I could take people back a couple of weeks to my usual food routine....but usually lunch is always a massive salad with lean protein and dinner is an entire bag of…

When I'm NOT teaching, I'm not doing anything as crazy as a nurse or salesman, I'll be cleaning etc or on the computer so not moving around a TON. So I kept it at sedentary, but add the exercise cals.

They fit ABOUT the same. A little snugger in the waist I thought. :-/

I didn't gain 4 pounds of muscle. I haven't added more strength training. that would be nice though. Haha

The calories are coming straight from my HRM. I'm a fitness teacher....so Monday I teach spin and Bodypump. Tuesday I teach a bootcamp class and then spin. Wednesday I teach an hour spin, Thursday I teach two spin and one core, Saturday a hour spin, and Sunday Bodypump. I'll then walk the dog with my monitor on and burn…

I have a HRM with a chest strap. I teach group ex...and usually two classes a day...plus racing around with the dog. The second I stop my workout I turn my HRM off. Like today I teach two spin classes and a 30 minute core class. Etc.
-
There was that frustration....I tried to ignore it...but then a massive gain out of no where? Not TOM related or anything either. I'm just stumped and MAD.
-
I'm missing something. 130 calories in 2 tablespoons? OMG! What are the benefits?
-
I got certified in Body Combat last weekend! It's AMAZING. Going full speed I was burning over 700 calories.
-
I've put a lot of them in myself since I teach 3 Les Mills formats. I use an HRM and then made my own exercise. Bodypump is usually around 400 something...or 500 with this new release! Body Attack I usually rock around 5-600 calories. :-)

I really loved the very first Biggest Loser DVD's. I used them back in 2006 to lose some baby weight. If you can find a cheap gym that has spin classes they will melt weight off of you and you have control as to how hard you ride. The lights are usually off in the room, so people kind of zone out. I lost 40 pounds doing…
