I've been the same way, and it has been incredible to see the kind of addiction sugar can create. It's really like a drug. It's going to be super hard, because our bodies now crave it....I get single servings of super dark chocolate. That helps my cravings some.

I was so happy happy that I had made it through Thanksgiving and Halloween with loses and not gains. Then between Christmas and NYE 7 pounds. Just with overeating on those specific days for the most part. Maddening.

No matter what your weight, it's really going to come down to that gosh darn calorie expenditure. Measure/weighing your food to keep it accurate, figuring out your TDEE and making sure you eat below it, and making your workouts count. I would really aim for 45 min-maybe an hour on your workouts...incorporate some strength…

If you are weighing everything, make sure you aren't over sodium....I can imagine Jenny Craig could be high in sodium since it's all packaged? If not..drinking water etc...then give it a bit more time. Many times when I start to lose weight it take a moment for my body to catch up. Keep it up!!!:flowerforyou:

5 day bump. Still maintaining. On day 47 of cycle with no TOM so maybe hormones are causing this? It should be SLLLOWWW, but with my measuring and no cheat meals there should be some progress?

It usually gets significantly busier. As a group fitness instructor I always use it as a time to REALLY try and grab people's interest and get them to stay as regulars and not resolutioners. It makes me sad when I see people that I've connected with fall off and disappear.

On compulsion, I just HAVE to add....that angel food cake has tons and tons of sugar. It's just white processed carbs and sugar. It's a ghost of "low fat" 1990's past. Sorry..I don't mean to be rude. I just HAD to throw that out there if we are looking at low sugar options. :flowerforyou:

Awww, yeah, sugar free jello with whipped cream is my go to. Or Arctic Zero. Emerald makes 100 calorie packs of either vanilla or chocolate almonds. Or a square of 86% or 90% dark chocolate.

I also think a part of it, more than genetics....is that were these people overweight in the past...and the bad food behaviors coming from people of the same family. When you have been overweight before, in some cases I do believe (could be wrong) that your body is always itching to get back to that weight...plus fat cells…

I have egg whites scrambled, chicken sausage with sage and my P28 protein bread with pumpkin spice cream cheese. It's my favorite meal of the day...and a vat of coffee of course. :laugh:

I live in Maryland where all chain restaurants MUST put their nutritional info next to their items....so I know without a single sip that a salted mocha or pumpkin latte, any frappacino etc starts at around 250-500 calories. All the baked goods are usually 400+. Total buzz kill. I can only stomach getting a black coffee…

I do the same thing....I don't lose my appetite when stressed! I would rethink your "healthy" choices though, as pretzels are just baked white flour and are high in carbs...fruit too when not in moderation...and even yogurt can be tricky....some are incredibly high in sugar and all three of these will make you even more…
