How much slower than 1 pound a week should I go? I don't mean to sound snippy but it is slow enough as it is. I have 56 pounds to lose total and I am only 14 in. I am trying not to stress too much about the calories. What I am aiming for is an overall lifestyle change. It is very hard and I realize it is not going to…

Okay, that I didn't even know/think about. My calorie goal is 1340 a day with the goal to lose 1 pound per week. I want to lose more per week but I am having trouble getting this calorie goal under control.
-
I am stressing about it I think, well I know, because I feel like I should be losing more than I am and quicker. Other than last week and most likely this week, I normally lose a pound or just over a week. I exercise 30 mins (sometimes an hour) a day and I am still trying to get this calorie thing down. I am trying not to…

Try having your doctor tell you that you will always struggle with your weight. That is what happened to me.

For a long time I didn't like water either. What did it for me was to drink it more to room temperature. Adding ice just doesn't do it for me. It took me quite a while but I now drink 95% water and every now and again throw in an alcohol beverage.

Congratulations! That is awesome!!!!! :flowerforyou:

My cousin and fellow MFP user is doing this. I think I might give it a try. I need to incorporate some strength training into my exercise. Right now I am doing C25K and then walking on the treadmill. I throw some Wii Fit in there some days but others I don't bother.

I hope I see it disappear within a couple of days! I normally lose 1 pounds or just over each week. This week was depressing with the weight gain. I hope I see more than a pound come off then if it is water weight. Ugh!
-
Honestly I don't know if I did or not. I haven't been real good about logging the last couple of weeks. I am getting back at it today. It does help. Thanks for the encouragement. I am drinking lots of water and praying that I see the weight come off again next week.

Well I didn't have an Easter meal but I did have family visiting this week. I thought all the walking/site seeing that we were doing would balance out the minor indulgences. Guess I was wrong. I gained 1.8lbs. So how do you know when it is "water weight" or good old fashioned fat? I take a diaretic daily with my blood…

Scares me too but we will get through it! I will be completing w5d3 on Thursday.

It was really that way for me too. I am completing the program on a treadmill so I make sure I have something to distract me. I either listen to my iPod or watch TV. I don't look at the time on the treadmill or on my iPod. That is what kills me. If I look at the time and I know I still have 2 mins to go! ;) You can do it…

Yay! Someone like me! I jog at 3.5 mph and walk at 3.0 mph. I just completed W5D2! I am so proud of myself!!!!!

Welcome to my world. I have been a DD since high school, no matter what my weight. At one time I was 125lbs and a 34DD. smh
-
Yay!!!! You lost 100lbs! That is freaking awesome!!!! Congratulations! Way to go! :drinker:

You need to try and get him onboard to eating healthy. Lucky for me I talked to my husband and my 16 year old son and told them that they only way I am going to be able to be successful at this is if they are eating the same foods. I am not "dieting", I am changing to a healthy way of eating. Neither one of them need to…

Thanks! I google pretty much everything except for that! LOL Well I completed W4D1 on Sunday and am set to do W4D2 today. I got through it and I didn't hyperventilate. ;)
-
No I don't have asthma or anything. I think maybe I just don't breath "right". Well I just finished Week 3 this morning. I couldn't get all the way through the jogging without fast walking some. I guess I will be doing Week 3 over again next week.
-
Awesome, way to go!
-
That is kind of hard to do. I walk about 2.7-3.0 and I jog usually at 3.5.
-
Way to go! I hope to be there sometime.

I just completed W3D2 this morning. I am still getting really winded when I run for the 3 mins. I can normally get through the first 3 mins okay, but the second 3 minds almost kills me. I find myself looking to slow down before the time is up. I think I will be doing this week over next week.
-
I am looking forward to being a member of this group! I just completed W3D2 this morning and I believe I will be doing week 3 over again next week. Jogging for 3 minutes is not easy for me. I have never been a runner/jogger so this program was intimidating at first. If I look too far ahead at the training it gets very…

I am looking to get down to 130lbs....

I found several there. Which one are you a member of?

:blushing: I ate a pepperoni and cheese bagel melt from Wawa and got a 20oz Coke. I know it wasn't good, it was things like this that I used to eat. I was just craving something "normal". Okay, I know that isn't what normal for me should be. Today at lunch I thought I was choosing something healthier. I was at Applebee's…

Thank you, what you have said is true. And I do know that I am just having a pity party right now. I am in the habit of exercising (still working on doing more). The habit of fixing my diet has been the toughest struggle ever!
-
That is true. I ate a better lunch or so I thought but still ended up over. Guess today is going to be a bust day. No I am not saying **** it! I am still trying but it just seems to be a really off day for me.
