You might also want to remember that you can also have what I call "false lows" where you weight below your normal [current] weight due to daily fluxuations due to time of day etc. Every time I get a new "low", I see it as a forcaster of next weeks "high" weight. I know that the only damage was a decrease in the loss rate and furthermore I compensated by burning extra calories today---swam 3/4 mile and 1 hr on the exercise machines at the Y which should be worth about 912 cals. 1200 cals a day sounds like a reasonably serious goal. Besides that losing more than than rate creates more problems like folds of loose skin that hasn't or won't shrink.

I am a sport cyclist and I agree withe SUV hater. On the road 10 mph on level road...no wind...I would expect heart rate of 125 to 130 and get nicely worn out in 30 miles.
