I'm due with my second April 9. My first was born at 26 weeks though. Hoping to bake this one longer.

From my experience . . . You or MFP set the calories for this site. The only time they would change would be if exercise calories were added. You are "promising" you are going to burn a certain number of calories. However, Fitbit is a more fluid method of tracking calories. It will adjust calories throughout the day based…

Scorpio Blend from Adagio teas. "An intense blend of black tea, rooibos and vanilla will sustain Scorpio's investigations and secret affairs. Scorpios will not rest until they have penetrated into the heart of every matter, and they need a strong drink to fuel their determination. Chocolate chips and mango pieces add a…

I leaned over in the kitchen the other day and slammed my head into the counter. My husband said, "Sweetie. You're closer to the cabinets now."

So many good songs titled "Jessica". I especially like Eden White, Hip Nik Jerk and Kip Fox. Beau Brummels, Elliot Minor and Juicy Lucy are good. All time favorite: Jessica Smiles by Gravity.

I started with 170 to lose and I am down 30. It is just getting to the point that people closest to me are noticing the weight loss and people at work are noticing that something is different. They can't put their finger on it and usually ask if I've changed my hair or tell me that I look nice that day.

I'd like to thank everyone for your support. Your suggestions have been great and it helps just to know that I'm not the only one who deals with these feelings. Here is the plan: 1. I made a lunch date with a coworker who always packs lunch so I don't have time to run to Sheetz. 2. I let my husband know that I'll be home…

These are pretty good, I just always have a problem with the consistency (runny). I recommend adding the egg a little at a time to get it right.

I have felt exactly the same way SO often. Teaching takes so much of my time. I am also the mother of a very active toddler. My husband stays at home and I feel like I need to go home right after work to "relieve" him. Then there is class, family obligations, taking care of the house . . . I get you. I read a comment from…

I've only been at this a little over a month. My husband has a fitness background, so we've been working out together. We text about meeting times throughout the day or, if I'm working out alone, he sends me some suggestions. Today, I typed GUM into my iPhone. . . it auto-corrected to GYM. Just a little pat on the back…

I weighed 325 when my son was conceived. He's two now. Conception was actually easy, but my weight caused many issues during the pregnancy. I experienced a miscarriage (blighted ovum) last spring. My husband and I are currently trying to conceive again and I'm hoping this healthier lifestyle will help. I'd love to be…

Today started out great. Now it is FREAKIN' FANTASTIC!!!! Thanks.

I plan to treat myself to little goodies that I normally wouldn't buy at each mini goal. My first was some sample perfumes from LUSH cosmetics. That will probably be my go to place for treats. Remember to build in rewards for things besides weight loss. I am rewarding every 25 pounds and BMI drops, but I also want to…

Good for you, Natalie! You make a lot of excellent points. There are often times I would like to chime in on a conversation, but don't feel like the backlash is worth it. P.S. This is not a "these people are mean" reaction. By all means, tell it like it is and don't baby grown adults looking for validation to do something…

This: http://peaceloveandlowcarb.blogspot.com/2012/06/philly-cheesesteak-stuffed-peppers.html I cut out the butter and reduce the amount of olive oil to saute. Reduce the provolone to one slice on top. Around 350 calories per serving.

I have made the commitment to myself to log in my food diary before I eat anything. Last night I was adding a recipe into my phone with a toddler screaming on my leg so that I knew if we had to adjust it before we ate it. So far, seeing the reality of the food added to my log has done one of two things. Either I eat it and…

That my outside doesn't match what's inside. I feel better than I have in a long time (mentally, emotionally and physically), but I still look the same.

If you have to eat a snack, I agree with other posters. See if you can substitute a snack of your choice. However, it might be a good teaching opportunity to talk about not eating if you're not hungry. My husband and I have spent most of our lives being overweight. Part of my struggle includes emotional eating, not wanting…

I haven't started working out yet. Since a fit lifestyle is so different for me, I am taking this a step at a time so that it lasts. In the past, I've gone all in and it hasn't stuck. When I do start, I'm probably going to do a short amount of cardio to get going, but focus on strength training. I'm a very big girl. I…

Yes! I went from baby fat to chubby kid to overweight teenager to obese adult. I don't know a "normal-sized" me. My friends and family don't know a "normal-sized" me. My hubs fell in love with me the way I am. I know that it is a psychological block, but it's frightening to think of because it is an unknown. Realistically,…

I'm sending a friend request. I have about 170 lbs to lose and can relate to a lot of what you said.

Can you add me, please?
