  • Like a new person! Really admire your family for throwing you a party aswell. :) Grats
  • I always get the same thing: If im normal I'm told im too skinny. If I gain weight, nobody notices and then when I want to lose the weight again they think im anorexic... =/
  • Fruit flavoured sour milk? Greek yoghurt doesn't taste like fruit at all! Anyway. I didn't like before either. I was in the states and I couldnt find any NORMAL yoghurt. All I could find was greek yoghurt and I was so upset. The normal yoghurts I found were usually "greek style" normal yoghurt lol. Then I got home and a…
  • Unless you have perfect stability, you're probably putting yourself at risk(or your foot rather). Especially if you're gonna do variations of exercises(like hack(front squat instead of whatever squat you're used to).
  • I always have a protein shake right away at the gym after my workout. Then I go home and eat something filling and I don't really get hungry again. As for filling food I would say a big load of skinless chickenbreast with a more heavy sallad(cabbage carrot or something similar) Lean beef is even more filling imo If I was…
  • Yes, alot of things. Most brands and alot of foods are completely unknown to me. I just figured out what a hot pocket was. But then I guess people feel the same when I log swedish brands and foods. :p
  • Start measuring your body. Are clothes fitting the same? Try to pick up a cheap scale to weigh your food. Especially dry products can differ in volyme very much making cups/dl/slices very inaccurate. Do you have problems with exhaustion, depression, freezing or anything else worth mentioning? I hate to bring this point up…
  • <-- Want want WANT to do crossfit but it's soooo expensive and my city only has one CF box and its in the other end of town(not very good on those 1-meter snow and -15C days). The way I see it, CF is more of a sport than hitting the gym. It's more extreme, you push yourself towards clear goals and maybe even choose to…
  • No hairstyle really. Just a whole lot of hair... :p
  • Sounds almost identical to me. Up until maybe 8 months ago I would eat very little. I think something that helped me alot was to ask people around, me that I trusted to be honest with me, about my portion sizes. The one who had to put up with my annoying questions the most was my boyfriend. :p Just choose good food and try…
  • * 60-75 min of lifting * depending on my current goals 15-30 min cardio on top

  • It's been a while since I studied, but IIRC orthorexia is more common than anorexia in men. I have to say not everyone who wants to eat very little are anorexic. Some are just very eager and motivated to reach their goals. They usually either learn the hard way, or they listen to trained or experienced people. =) A few of…
  • It's easy to lose quite a bit of weight fast when you first start out. Especially if you're obese(and therefore have a pretty high daily kcal for maintenance) but it's definitely not a healthy choice in the long run. If you look at VLCD its usually recommended to do it for a max of 3 weeks OR with the help of a dr. Being…
  • Bored? Drop and gimme fifty! :p
  • Is this whey protein or casein? These two types of protein act very differently. Protein fluff demonstrates it very well. I do have a few nummy ways to use protein. If you want something milkshake-like, try half a cup of skim milk, 1 scoop protein, about 5 ice cubes and any flavor and sweetener you like(frozen fruit, coco…
  • If you're angry, take it out on the dumbbells, kettlebell, barbell... If you're sad exhaust yourself and pump your body full of endorphins - they're like your own personal happy pill.
  • Check out skinnytaste.com and do a search for quinoa Here's another one. I haven't tried it myself but I've only heard good things about it: Quinoa Mac n' Cheese: http://monimeals.com/meals/quinoa-mac-n-cheese/
  • Yes, very much so. I used to eat 500 under my daily need. Then I'd feel guilty and start eating 500 under 500 under my need, just in case, and so on. But with a little help I'm slowly learning to accept that food isn't evil and that I don't have to always aim to lose weight, eat less and be fitter... It's ok.
  • He's gonna blow, RUN!
  • My tunapatties: 150g Tuna in brine 2 tbp potato flour 4 tbsp water 2 tbsp chopped chives 2 tsp thyme 2 tsp rosemary 2 tsp oregano salt & pepper Run the tuna in a mixer/blender until finely chopped(looks sort of like ground meat). Mix the tuna, chives and spices. Mix in the potato flour. Add the water. Salt & pepper to…
  • I'm sorry, I thought you were showing off your hoodie, not a tent? Good job! ;p
  • I second this. Very inspirational, with plenty of workouts, plenty of alternative moves and DIY tools for adding extra intensity. I also like www.zuzkalight.com which is one of bodyrock's founders' new website.
  • ^ This is good. You can also use already flavoured cream cheese to make it even quicker. Baked salmon is the best! I like to put lemonpepper on top for some extra crunch. Spreading pesto on top is also very very very good.
  • This girl: http://fitnessguru.se/sophie She's realized that she can really mold her body with hard work and she's using musclemass to alter the shape that was originally given to her. =) I think it's really cool.
  • Or maybe we can send them in for training a couple of weeks? :p
  • When I started my journey I went bonkers and ate 100% healthy and worked out like mad for 4 months. A few tips when you want something to eat but don't have the calories to spend: * When you make oatmeal use half fibers(wheat fibers or whatever you can find where youre at) it adds bulk to your food without adding too many…
  • I have to disagree. Yes your body needs rest inbetween, especially when heavy lifting, but there are so many types of exercise it's hard to generalize and say what's too much and what's not. Doing an hour of yoga on your off-gym days or lifting weights on your off-running days could easily add up to 7 days a week without…
  • I feel so mediocre. :p Good job ALL of you!
  • Basically you cornered him and made him answer something he didn't want to because he loves you so much he doesn't want to hurt you. We all have wishes and dreams. Some of us may wish that our better half would share the same interest in diet or fitness. Some wish that their hubby would be more romantic or join them in…
  • I love pickled herring too! Pickled with onions, in mayo, in mustard-mayo... well in anything really. Svartsoppa(black soup) is also very good around Christmas.. It's a brownish-black soup based on broth, Chrstmas spices(think gingerbread), cognac or sherry and goose- or pigsblood. I eat mine with a piece of sliced liver…
