You could always try Soylent! It's creator says it meets all nutritional requirements for an average adult :) http://www.soylent.me/

I did it earlier this year. I would recommend giving level one a try, don't worry about walking first. It alternates walking and jogging already. Just see how you go. I thought I was unfit, but I managed to get through OK. It's pretty well tailored to suit people that don't run

I like to put on Daft Punk's 'Alive' album while I'm on the treadmill. Very intense and helps me zone out completely
-
Amazing! You look like a completely different person

Welcome  MFP really does work if you are diligent. Make sure you add some friends to keep you accountable. Good luck!

I find that more protein works for me. Helps me feel fuller for longer, and I don't retain water so much. Although in saying this, I have tried to go very low carb before (i.e. Atkins/ketosis) and every time I have failed miserably. Cutting them out completely just caused me to binge.

Wow! Awesome story. Congrats on the weight loss - you look great :)

Add me if you like. I'm down to my last few kg to lose so I need people to keep me in check, too. Mostly doing cardio and circuit training, but I think I need to start weight training as it's getting really hard to lose the last little bit. I work out 4-5 times a week as well.

I didn't like this at first, but that was when I still pretty unsure of myself and how motivated I can be. I got very close to my goal and hit a bit of a plateau...then I put about 5kg back on...:embarassed: One of my coworkers decided he needed to lose some weight and started an office competition to motivate himself.…

Well, this is a pretty sensible comment. While we all (should) know that you need to keep within your calorie budget, I do believe that the 'fist portion' thing is a great guide. A friend of mine at work has been using this method for a long time and it helped him to lose quite a lot of weight. He doesn't count calories…

I lost about 13kg with diet alone. I started at 82kg and I'm 163cm. I was completely sedentary and I used the calorie goal recommended by MFP the whole time. I think I started at 1700cal and gradually went down to 1200cal. I hit a plateau after that first 13kg. I decided I needed to change things up and began to include…

Awesome work! I wish I could lose weight from my tummy

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71gvvrOAz1L._SL1500_.jpg I dunno how to post images but this was one that used to hang on the wall in my science class through high school. I found it mesmerising for some reason. When I graduated, my science teacher let me take it, so now I can look at it every day

I second every point mentioned here

It'll probably help reduce the bloat but not much more than that. If anything it'll probably make you cranky. I've tried that sort of thing before and it just encouraged me to binge the following day. You didn't go waaaaay over so I don't know why you'd need to fast.

 :drinker: Haha awesome. I love it

I totally agree! Nice work

It IS all in your head. It's all about confidence! I remember when I first started putting on weight, I was absolutely oblivious to the fact that I was getting bigger. I was still confident in myself and still did well when it came to romantic interests. Even when I was at my heaviest, I just tried to ignore my size and…

You can definitely see a huge difference around your waist and your legs. Great work. 35 lb is an amazing loss :D

Vodka/bacardi with diet coke is good if you're into the sweet stuff. Or with lime & soda.

I would be interested in this too, however I might only be able to do the workouts twice a week. I work fly-in-fly-out and am only able to do the video in my days off. Maybe I can just follow this thread to see how everone else is going :flowerforyou:

This is the best NSV I've ever heard. I know it's great when we experience personal success, but it's so cool when you can encourage others too. Awesome :bigsmile:

Exactly what I was thinking. My partner LOVES that I have lost weight (I met him when I was at my heaviest) so I know he is definitely not trying to sabotage my efforts. But we pretty much got together because we both share a love of food and veging out on the couch in front of a movie. Now that I'm exercising and am more…

I know here in Australia they recommend 2 litres/8 glasses per day. 2 L = 2000 mL 2000 / 8 = 250 250 mL = 1 cup By this logic I would say that the recommended amount in one serving is literally a cup, not a big glass.

Lanyard headphones. I was so sick of my headphones getting yanked out of my ears while running!

My parents convinced me that they were broke when I was very young, so even though I worried about "brands" I felt too guilty to ask for much. I was about 17 when I realised they weren't poor after all, they just didn't want to buy me expensive things I was going to grow out of anyway. Conveniently, I had already found…

Congratulations on your success so far. You're an inspiration to the rest of us :)

Good quality non-stick cookware (pots, pans, baking trays).

1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - first and only legal VHS I ever owned, bought for me by my grandad for my birthday when I was very little. Absolutely love old Disney cartoons. So beautiful. 2. The Sword in the Stone - Disney again. Makes me laugh and cry. 3. It's a Wonderful Life - my dad used to force my sister and I…
