Search Jessica Smith and PahlaB, both do a variety of at home workouts.

Usual 6k to and from work but I haven’t been out this evening. Fingers crossed for a longer (colder) walk tomorrow.
-
@AnnofB It was closer to 6pm in the U.K. by the time I’d clocked up my 6k steps but thank you.
-
After a ridiculously lazy weekend back to work so 6,231 steps so far. I really should make more of an effort!
-
Not as much today as I should have done. 5805 steps.

@janna674 “made your work friend...” tickled me. My ex-colleague used to do this to me. Sadly we no longer work together.
-
5980 so far and off out for a 15-20 minute brisk walk in a few minutes.
-
First frost of the New Year so wrapping up warm for a 45 minute walk this morning. Brrr
-
Just under 6,000 steps in a walk this morning. A film on Netflix now and then back to a 15-20 minute walk after dinner.
-
I ended up doing 20 minutes round the block after dinner so it’s 9,562 steps and only a few hours until bedtime. Yippee.

I’ve walked 4,045 steps so far, have a journey home from work of approximately 2,000 steps but if I promise now to do an extra 15 minutes indoors later I’ll have to won’t I?!

The U.K. generally show or use both Imperial and Metric systems. Milk is sold by the litre but everyone calls it a pint of milk (it’s not!). You’d ask for a pound of flour but it’s sold in kg bags. Your doctor will weigh you in kg and you’ll say “what’s that in real money?” (Old joke from decimalisation) and they’ll…

The difficulty for the GP is you can’t tell him/her what it is that’s troubling you. You’ve arrived in the surgery saying you’re struggling, which coincidentally is after you’ve had a baby, so to the GP postnatal depression could well fit the bill. Could you book another appointment after you’ve written down some or all of…

It seems you have more of a mind over matter issue than anything else. Have you researched maintenance goals and how to stay with in your target range for life? Well done on the journey so far and good luck with the maintenance. As you’ve found it’s actually much harder than the losing weight stage.

I think I’ve joined this challenge before but dropped out because I set unrealistic goals. I routinely walk 4 days each week (around 6,000 steps) but am going to start small by adding an indoor walk of at least one mile every day. If I can do more then great!

Hi Tacocat So sorry you’ve had such a tough year, particularly with the loss of your mum and sister. You’ve done the right thing focusing on getting fitter for 2019. H

12/12. 14,001 I felt like you do at the petrol station where you wished you’d got a nice round number. I didn’t fancy trying for 15,000 at bedtime!
