  • Welcome to the group, onebookwonder. It's not as active as I thought it was before, but it's something with common goals and fitness. Gotta work the mind as well as body and finances have an impact. I use this site on my phone mostly so I don't access the groups like I use to, but I'm here. Just bought a house and am in…
  • Welcome to the group. It is great to finish a program. Self accomplishment and such. I get like that more when I get the free t-shirt...then get a bit discouraged when the shirt doesn't fit right lol. But it's a great feeling. I've done TF. Lost 15 lbs with the program. Haven't done Les Mills Pump, but looking into it. Let…
  • I was having issues with the program only because I've never meal prepped before so it is a BIG change. First round...first attempt at round one, I lost 6 lbs in 10 days and then after the 21 Days were up, overall, it was only 2 lbs lost. Calorie counting though, is helpful with this program, I think. Seemed when I WAS…
  • Welcome to the group. T25 is a great program. It was one of the programs I previously did. Right now, I'm working on the 21 Day Fix, but incorporated T25 Beta into it when I need the extra burn. If you need a serious challenge, if you write your calories down, try to beat your previous burn. That tends to help me push…

  • Yep, so far, it's doing the job. I miss my Fitbit Force for the stairs climbed feature, but this was my alternative after being one of the many with the Fitbit wrist issue. I love how it works with MFP...so helpful. Love the way it tracks sleep too.
  • I'm still here. I check in ever so often. Seems it's been a quiet group mostly, but every now and again, a conversation can get started. Support etc. I hit a snag with my budget. All cards are paid, minus one and emergency fund is up to $1200, but lots of "suddenly came ups" have happened in my life in just the passed 2…
  • P90x3 was not what I expected it to be. Was concerned mainly b/c I've been told Horton is a talker, but it was awesome. I only did the one workout lol, but he uses cardio and weights and I really felt the burn. I attempted Insanity, once upon a time and after two weeks had to quit, but did TurboFire instead. T25 is a good…
  • Progress is still progress! When I first started TF, I was only losing 5 lbs a month. I just remind myself that "Slow and Steady Win the Race." I'm working on my diet this year. Staying focused and trying to find those "abs that are made in the kitchen." Even bought myself a food scale for portions and what not. You CAN do…
  • TF is a great workout! I'll be starting week 3 of my Round 2 tomorrow. Chalene definitely has a motivational push about her. Good luck to you. --Julie
  • Hi, I'm Julie. Mom of 4, living in Nebraska right now. Glad to see there's a group for TMMO in all this calorie counting, weight loss site. So many things to do all at once and one focus at a time lol. I haven't taken any classes...read part of one of the books...bought 2 more, just waiting for the mail to rush since it's…
  • Thanks for replying. I've been counting calories, but it seems to no longer be helping me lose the weight. Trying to do more research, but I could never grasp the meal prep since I cook for the family and end up having to taste while I cook. I end up eating with the family. Maybe lowering my intake?
  • I am Julie, a mom of four children, ages 11, 10, 7, and 4. I've been on MFP for 306 days with the goals to lose weight and learn about healthier eating...to live longer for my kids. I enjoy photography, family, television and movies. I am an emotional eater, boredom being the strongest emotion that sends me to the fridge.…
  • My reasons to lose weight: For my family. I want to be around a long time so I need to take care of myself for my family. One of those things that maybe they will see what positive changes are and want to follow along. Could also be that it may help with snoring lol. I do want to feel better about myself too. I'm doing…
  • It's a great program. I'm on my second round with the base kit and have already lost a good deal of weight and inches. Anxious to get Gamma. Makes me nervous, but you feel the burn within just the short amount of time. Definitely worth it. :-)
  • I've been doing Beachbody's Hip Hop Abs levels 1 and 2 and so far it seems to be helping, IMO. It's a gradual thing. Don't know about dramatic weight loss since I'm still at the start of my journey, but I've seen improvement with the pooch. It's gone from sticking out to staying on the inside of my pant waist. Hope you…
