Unfortunately I have lost and then gained with many of these diets :( I am so glad I am now making a lifestyle change I can LIVE with on MFP :))
-
Bump for the future: Nicely put!
-
Bump, gotta try this :))
-
Started using MFP seriously after my 55th birthday... I guess I am an older woman, just don't feel like one on the inside and I'm starting to not feel that way on the outside. Send a friend request if you want :)

Congratulations! You look Marvelous, simply MARVELOUS! LOVE the birds :)) Cannot wait till I make this marker.

Yep, fresh is the answer. My question is... why do you pay more for food with less salt? You would think if they didn't put it in it would cost less...
-
Have to go to work but would love to see what response you get :)
-
Ditto :) Might add healthy food choices.

I agree with the sodium comments. I started tracking my sodium and I have been astonished at the levels in some foods! I do eat my exercise calories back but only about 1/2 of them. I get WAY too hungry if I don't and that leads me to disaster! If my sodium count sky rockets I drink gallons of water!!!! I try to stay close…

This recipe looks yummy, I'll have to try it soon: http://www.eatbetteramerica.com./recipes/under-300-calorie-dinner/roasted-butternut-squash-stuffed-shells.aspx

I love Butternut squash... I like it best just baked. I cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and pulp. Lay it cut side down in a baking dish with about an inch of water and bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Drain, cool slightly, scoop and eat :)

I have a heal bone spur and trouble with my knees so I walk, almost jog. I went to the local running store and got fitted for mew running shoes (not cheep) and they have helped. Very cushy on my feet! I also never go barefoot and ware shoes with good arch support for my flat feet.

Just goes to prove you cannot trust fast food chains, and need to educate yourself when it comes to eating at restaurants. Best choices are those you make at home so you know what goes in your food and reading the nutrition information BEFORE going out to dine.

Impressive numbers! You have really turned things around and are in inspiration that the right lifestyle changes work.

When cooking low fat instead of heavy sauces I like to bump up the flavor with cooking sherry, garlic, onions, and dejon mustard, mushrooms, etc. Great with chicken breasts.
-
Great job Kim and I love your blog :)
-
Agree, open your diary, also soup is often loaded with sodium. You can add sodium to your diary and track it as well, it's a real eye opener!
