Sweety, your body is starving, and it wants food... You'll get there. You will, i believe in you :) i wish you didn't have to go through this.

A combination of both... weightlifting 3-4 days a week and throw in some HIIT cardio twice a week.

Looks yummy

Just finished reading Defending Jacob by William Landay... It was for Book Club, and I enjoyed reading it.

Agree with the advice to start lifting heavy, slight deficit and keeping protein high, patience and don't look at the scales.

What brand/ model is your hrm? I find the polar ft7 super easy to use, and quite accurate. I just strap it on, hit start, and I'm good to go.

I use my hrm (I have a polar ft7) when I do cardio exercises like bike riding, jogging, skipping, etc. I use that number when ı log exercise on mfp. I use my fitbit just to see how active I have been throughout the day. It has been useful in motivating me to be more active... I like to get it between 15000 and 20000 steps…

Some great suggestions for my next Book Club meeting! I also enjoyed The Book Thief, and the Game of Thrones book 1. Am currently reading the second book.

I'm having exactly the same problem- I started training for a 15km, and some days the pain was so bad the day after a long run I thought I had done permanant damage! I've bought new shoes, cut right back to 30 minute runs, and will slowly build up again. I am taking glucosamine, although I was told with proper shoes and…

the 0% fat greek yoghurt... protein powder... egg whites...

When I have to travel, I often take food with me :) I take oats and cans of tuna. When I get there, if I know there will be a fridge, I buy low fat yoghurt and eggs to keep for snacks, and make my own sandwiches. I also always take my jump rope and interval timer, so there is no excuse not to burn a few cals. If there is a…

I've signed up for a 15km, as a one off challenge, and have started training for it, doing about 3 jogs/runs per week... It should fit in nicely with my goal to lose a little fat. I've still been doing 3 weight training days, with one day off per week. Would you suggest doing body part splits on the 3 days - legs/…

now I want to eat blueberry muffins!

I'm new to running... planning to join a 15km in November here in Istanbul. I'm currently running 3 days a week, one long, two shorter ones, with 3 days strength training on other days. It is actually still surprisingly warm here, looking forward to some cooler weather.

I have the fitbit ultra, and I love it. I was actually mostly interested in the sleep function, but I love the step tracker. It didn't charge for a few days after I first got it, but I was happy the company replied really quickly when I emailed them. Not sure what the problem was, but it started charging itself again after…

I'd rather lift weights... but I do like to jump rope for cardio :)
