I'm usually not hungry if I'm working out in the morning, maybe have a muesli bar at the most.

I recently started to get my finances back on track after overspending for a few months, and same with my weight/over eating. I've noticed a lot of these analogies.

Hi, I'm at 1600, feel free to add me anyone - have been logging for 3 weeks now (this time round)

I don't think it matters if you don't feel hungry, there's a lot of research to suggest 'metabolism slowing down isn't really a big concern. I don't eat breakfast most days, and it's not a problem.

I haven't had my hair coloured or cut since December and the regrowth is so bad! I just can't afford the $220. There are some places that might be under $200ish but not by much and I don't want to go anywhere other than my normal salon. I tell myself it's ombre.

YES to the laundry! I swear I'm always washing clothes and towels, trying to manage my hair as well from working out.
-
I like fitocracy - great for tracking my lifts and workouts in general!

I don't usually eat mine back, although my calories are a bit higher than most people in here -1600.

I don't bother entering the black tea but I do enter the milk I put in it, same with coffee.

Mine tonight will be my jazz dance class.

I would suggest seeing a therapist - it sounds a bit dramatic but it was really helpful for me to reduce binging. Like others said, I just don't buy things like ice cream or cookies - I'm rarely going to leave the house to go and buy some, especially if it's in the evening and I'm already in my pjs.

I sometimes have a few hundred remaining, mostly I think it's because MFP over calculates the calories that I burn while exercising. I still log it because I want to keep a record of them, but I don't always eat them all back. Also, it may be because I slept for 12 hours, and therefore am not really hungry enough to eat…

If I'm going to a party, I try to eat before I go, so I don't get there and eat heaps of chips. I also know which alcoholic beverages have the fewest calories and stick to them. I also try and work out that day, so I know I have a few more calories in my budget to spare.

All the sugar free syrups here in NZ are disgusting, they're different to the US ones. I usually just get a tall hazelnut latte with trim milk, or sometimes a tall trim caramel frappuccino. Starbucks is more of a treat drink for me cos it's pretty expensive.

Jazz dance class for an hour, personal training for about 30 minutes where I usually do weights and some cardio or bodyweight stuff. Then usually 2-3 other gym sessions where I do a mix of cardio and weights on machines - I'm so weak at the moment that most free weights are too heavy for me. I try to make it to a yoga…

That's what annoys me the most about it - what even IS clean eating?

My aim is about 150lb (70kg). I've been that weight before and I was happy with how I looked.
-
I generally am honest, unless I binge, in which case I just leave it blank.
-
I drive about 5 minutes home from the gym, take my shoes and sweaty gear off, and by then my heart rate has usually returned to normal and I have a cool shower.

I think a kitchen scale is a must if you're dieting, otherwise it's too hard to count calories accurately.
-
I have almond milk with cereal, but soy in my lattes as hot almond milk is disgusting.

Monday: brief cardio (5-10 mins), weights, yoga Tuesday: 1 hour jazz dance class Wednesday usually off. Thursday: weights, longer cardio session Friday, usually off. Saturday morning: Personal training. Usually weights/body weight type exercises, or medicine ball type things

My membership alone is $56 NZD but I spend extra for a personal trainer once a week ($60/session). No joining fee, no fixed term. It's quite cheap for here, but it's fairly no-frills, one of those 24/7 places.

The strength training section doesn't give me calories burned, it just is a record of what I've done which isn't really useful in this situation. I think I might just make sure I have a healthy meal after working out and if it means I go over the calories alotted to me by MFP that's not the end of the world

The women's gym near me doesn't really have free weights, it's mostly machines and light weights, so i joined a unisex one. I take a water bottle, a sweat towel and spray on deodorant just in case.

It's hard to exercise when you're fat. It's hard to even find appropriate clothing for it, you end up in a big tent and in a too-small sports bra. It's also really tiring hauling a fat body around. If you run, your thighs rub and it's uncomfortable. And all the while you feel ashamed of yourself and your body, and if…

I generally don't eat back my exercise calories, but reading this thread has made me feel like I should.

I'm really confused also. I weigh 85kg and am 165cm. I'm mostly sedentary at work, but I do yoga for 90 mins 1-2 x per week, and I do a jazz dance class for 60 mins once per week. I'm 22, and would like to lose 15kg. MFP said to do 1520, and I lost about 800grams doing that for a couple of weeks. (I lost 5kg earlier this…

I've been using baby cheeses, the babybel ones that come in red wax circles.

I don't really count onions or garlic, because the amount shared across the number of people I cook for is so minor.
