I'm not sure if it's normal - never happened to me. Although, I suggest only weighing once a week or so and to track your moving average. A lot can change day by day - or not. Good luck! :)

I have trouble with losing but I attribute that to my inconsistencies in diet, dosage etc. Been on some form of Synthroid for about 14 years. My levels are always out of wack (100 - 175mcg) so it's tough to always be on the correct dosage.Still possible to lose weight but it's much more difficult and takes longer. :-(

I agree with your husband, kinda. Measuring the extra skin isn't going to be a true measure of your hips. Measure the place you want (any place as long as it's consistant) if you're measuring for progress. On the other hand, if you're measuring for clothing sizes I would take into account where your waistband will hit -…
