I'm right there with you girl! No matter how much exercise, water, coconut oil, fiber, veggies I add, I've come to the realization, that while most of my body like the LCHF lifestyle, constipation is a reality for me. I've never been "regular" though, so I'm sort of used to it. I've recently added a stool softener in the…

Feel free to add me as well. I am a ketoer - under 20 net carbs/day. But I log daily.

Anything that you can stomach that you consider to be on your plan. Think outside of the typical breakfast foods we've been raised to think we must eat in the morning. I like to have a bulletproof coffee first thing in the morning (coffee w/ kerrygold unsalted butter and coconut oil) fills me up for hours until I'm ready…

Congrats! Today was my day too. It's just been 4.5 years since I was last here, but it's felt like forever.

Dandelion. It can be found at your local health food store in capsules and in tea. The leaf has more of a diuretic affect than does the root. I take the capsules nightly. During TOM, I take one serving 3x per day, and have LOST weight during the past 4 month's TOM. Also you can incorporate some diuretic foods. The best…

All of the above. Plus find a good fat bomb recipe. It's a great snack and helps boost my fat intake (and energy) in the afternoon.

All great advice here. Like Kira said, your new lifestyle has got to not only help you achieve your goals, but has to be livable. If alcohol is something you enjoy then it's just a matter of figuring out how to make it work when you do want that drink. Just like all of the food cravings you're trying to meet in this new…

Absolutely incredible transformation! Congrats to you. Thanks for sharing your very inspiring story!

5'8" here too. I am aiming for 145 smack dab in the middle of the healthy range for our height. Like many others here, I too will reevaluate once I get closer.

Thanks for responding Kira. I just finished reading Jimmy Moore's n=1 experiment, along with relevant sections in The Art And Science Of Low Carbohydrate Performance. And, I started testing. Amazing what protein, both timing and quantity can do to our numbers. Just tweaking protein has allowed me to have 2 consecutive days…

Oh! And I forgot to ask you Kira. When you have your highest weeks of weightloss, do you find that you are showing your blood ketones in the optimal "nutritional ketosis" range of 0.5 to 3.0mm? I should be getting my strips any day now!

Kira - Great post! I would expect nothing short of great info from you! I'm currently reading Dana Carpender's book, How I Gave Up My Low-Fat Diet and Lost 40 Pounds: http://alturl.com/f3ute. And she references several of the studies you point out, which are all so very interesting. And I find it amazing that this has been…

Hi! I've been doing Keto since November, and keep my diary open to friends. I'm also doing the Fat Fast this week, so my diary is a little funky until Saturday.

I've been Keto since November 2012 and am down almost 27 pounds. Feel free to add me, and take a look at my diary. This week I'm on a Fat Fast, so it's not an ideal week to view. But I'll be back on "regular" Keto on Saturday.

I love this idea Kira! Here's what I've tried and my thoughts: BPC - I made my own version, but still within the limits. I do 1T butter, 1T coconut oil, 1T cream, and coffee. I removed the cocoa before going on the FF. But I do miss having the 2nd tablespoon of butter. Ham & Egg cup - My experience was the same as yours,…

Bump. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent progress! Thank you for sharing your inspiring story!

HUGE pet peeve of mine! I often wonder why manufacturers even make cars with signals anymore as it's becoming an extinct act. A quirky little game I play in my head whenever I take an off ramp, I count the number of folks in front or in back of me who use/don't use their signals and come up with my own stats, 1 out of 4…

Find and read the Roadmap 2.0 post in the forums. Best advice on finding the right daily calorie limits for you rather than choosing some arbitrary number. Educate yourself, read, read, read!

I'm at just over 90 days and down almost 23.5 pounds. I have 60 or so to go myself.

What a great story! I hope you reconnect with Lauren, or perhaps fate has another lucky lady lined up for you. Excellent loss, focus and commitment. Thanks for sharing your inspiring story!

Welcome to the club! Push through these next couple of transition days and you'll be great!

Couldn't agree more! Congrats on not hitting your goal. It looks great on you!

Hot Mama! Great work! You look so very happy now. Thanks for sharing your inspiration!

Awesome job getting your beach body!

Perhaps you gain 1/4 if an inch if you currently walk with your shoulders rolled forward and then the weight loss helps you stand prouder and with better posture. But that's not getting taller. It's becoming more confident and feeling better about yourself.

I would check out your local Craigslist for any and all of the items folks have listed.

Sorry you're suffering from knee pain. It sucks! I have 2 tears in one of my meniscuses and am finally recovering from chondromylasia patella in the other (bruising under knee cap). In both cases, I have no injury to point to as a cause. I did used to lift very heavy (squat 140-150# free weight). I got a cortisone shot in…
