  • That does look super yummy! Thanks!
  • Exactly what I was thinking. As long as you are in a safe area and feel safe, then anytime would be good. I would also make sure to carry your house/car keys between your fingers for a good punch, just in case. (I know I sound paranoid but at least once a week I hear of something happening to people who are out by…
  • Nope...I wish it did though! I'd be losing weight like crazy then! :)
  • After teaching in the public school systems in the US...I'd have to go with private :)
  • I speak English and Spanish! (Teaching Spanish at the university here). Also, learning Japanese...so if anyone knows JPN MESSAGE ME! I'm getting my doctorate in second langauge acquisition (obviously emphasis in Spanish) and I can tell you that my JPN class is not effective for learning the language. So, any help would be…
  • Pajama jeans! And another cheese cutter :) I'm easy to please :)
  • I take a B complex everyday because I don't eat meat...so it helps get in the B vitamins that I'd be lacking. Really...I don't notice a difference if I take it or not.
  • I'm not a Dr. Oz fan. I think he is getting into weight loss without much background in it. Isn't he just an "all-around" doctor? I could be wrong....but I know that most Dr.'s don't have that much training in nutrition.
  • I agree...I know not all doctors have much nutrition knowledge. Usually, they have a broad spectrum. If you want someone that specializes, and knows nutrition, you'd need to talk to a registered dietitian.
  • I think it's basic common sense. If you don't eat enough to fuel your body, it will start to work less and focus on maintaining the essential bodily functions. Eventually, even those functions will not get enough fuel, and that's how people die of anorexia.
  • I LOVEE Chalene Johnson! And the turbo jam is addicting! I didn't do the program...I just picked the workouts that I thought were fun. I really want to try the turbo fire too....she's soooo full of energy and excited, it's contageious. (or however you spell that :) you'll love it! I did! :)
  • I think this has gotten way off topic from what the OP was going for. It's her decision and she is free to do what she wants. As fellow MFPers, I think it's important to encourage people with positive attitudes. So...girl! If joining the military is what you want...you go for it! Your grandma is just worried about you I'm…
  • Wow...I think I need to do this! Maybe with cheese :) I know cheese has some nutritional value (calcium, protein)...but it's so high in calories for me! I know moderation is key...but I LOVE cheese :) I think I may have to give this a try :)
  • Do you do that with the beans from a can? Or are there specific ones you need? I've never heard of doing this, so this is why I'm curious...they sound yummy though!
  • I'm 5' 4" 133ish (depends on the day). I, personally would like to lose another 10...to get to 123 pounds. So, I guess 20 pounds wouldn't be too drastic. I agree with someone who said that the weight for our height is about 120-140. My mom is a registered dietitian...and there are some on here too. And for women, at 5…
  • Yep....this. If people deprive themselves from things that they want...they may end up binging or over endulging. Moderation is key. :)
  • The detectives in homocide are pretty intelligent. They wouldn't see through it. Most times when something is a set up, like was described, there is some evidence that will surface to disprove it. (I watch a lot of "first 48" and those murder shows :) The investigations are soooo interesting!) :)
  • I haven't tried this, but have the recipe as well. From what I've heard from everyone who's had it....it's pretty awesome!! :)
  • Grilled veggies! :)
  • I like some of these ideas! One I would say too is to get your salad dressing on the side and dip your fork into it and then your salad. That way, you get a little of the flavor on each bite, without over doing it on the dressing. Also...cheesy stuff will always be high too...and drink lots of water before :) Good luck!…
  • I feel like I'm in the minority here :) I don't have any....and at least for me, they're a little too permanent. I go through phases of liking things and then not...so I'm afraid I would get sick of something after awhile. I guess it would be different for me though if it meant something.
  • What a load of crap for most of that....I didn't read it all, but looks like it's not legit. Research in journals...not some blog online.
  • Studies have shown that it's not the hormone that makes you lose weight...it's the 500 calories a day that makes you lose weight.
  • I don't know what the Dukan diet is, but counting calories and changing to a healthier lifestyle will maintain you in the long run. Diets don't work a lot of the time, because people can't live the rest of their life on one specific diet. Good luck though! With whatever one you chose! :)
  • I've heard about it...but what is it? I assume it's something good...so good for you!
  • Yes! That's fine! Anything hot in the morning will make you do your business. Anything with vitamin C will do the other part! I don't know why people are getting so bent out of shape! If you want lemon water...have it!!! It's not going to hurt you! If it were to happen to benefit you...then that's even better! I just think…
  • Exactly...thank you for helping me try to say what I'm saying. I may not have come across the best, and I'm sorry for that. But, really...lemon and water isn't bad for you! I'm just saying that in terms of weight loss, I personally would like to see some studies that back.
  • Please....take lemon and water all you want! It's 0 calories! And...based on your blocked info, I can't see if you have any education backing your ignorance or not. I do scientific research....that's why my mentality is that way. I need to see empirical evidence to believe something...not just someone's comment.
  • Wow...we are ignorant people on here! If you want the lemon water...have it!!!! I'm just saying that in terms of weight loss, I haven't seen anything proven in terms of studies on here. So...you all should simmer down and have your lemon water. I'm just looking from the outside, scientific perspective.
  • I have no problem with people sharing what they think works....but there are some people who believe anything without doing any research into it. That's where my problem is. If you want to try it.....go for it! I just have not seen anything shown on here that shows it works, scientifically.
