I fast every day from 8pm to 12pm. I eat 3 meals a day to meet my calories and macro requirements. I can honestly say I wouldn't have lost all the weight I have without fasting. my body feels great and when in a fasted state as I feel more productive and alert.

I don't see why people should 'chill' ,loosing weight and transforming your body is a scientific procedure and peoples frankly stupid 'facts' are what hold others back because they listen to them and give up or get stuck in a rut once it doesn't work

You're welcome :). I have had a few other HRM which were grossly inaccurate it actually made the transition to the FT4 difficult because of how much slower the calories seem to burn off but it's much more worth it after your workout.

I was in your same postion, I still have a belly and flabby thighs with skinny arms and chest (basically skinny fat) I upped my calories to 1500, started lifting and gradually moved to 1800 and I am starting to see the belly melt away Hope this helps :)

On my 2nd FT4 at the minute, I find the calories burned to be very accurate

Look up Richard Neal He has a pretty impressive weight loss 400 lbs down to 190 lbs but he's your typical beachbody coach so I tend to stay away from those people

I used to use the elliptical to protect my knees when I started but as I became fitter i found it harder to get my heart rate up on it so moved to the stair climber

Get some patella knee straps Take glucosamine twice a day Use the elliptical and walk on the treadmill and steady pace and high incline Man up and get through it, once you get fitter the knee pain will leave unless you have an underlying problem I went through the exact same problems but it will get better

I lost over 180lbs since January 1st this year eating at 1200-1300 calories, I have increased by lean body mass and greatly reduced my body fat. I also have a cheat meal every 2 weeks which is high calories just to ignite my metabolism. It can be done and bro-science is very rarely accurate
