I was never on any drugs. I refused. I started low carb and IF immediately upon diagnosis. That was exactly 9 months ago today. I've now lost 116lbs and my A1c is now 30, which is 4 point something in US measurements. My doctor is stunned!

AcV does help. So do bitter melon, gymnema sylvestre, and nigella sativa aka black seed oil. African mango and berberine also. I've researched all of these in the scientific literature on PubMed, and studies support their efficacy. Fibre eg psyllium husk also helps if taken before a meal.

It lowers your blood glucose level so it is taken for that reason by many people with type 2 diabetes. Certain diabetes doctors recommend it.
