  • I have been doing WW and not enjoying it. Out of curiosity, I logged my food in both apps and found that while I am out of WW points for the day, I have only consumed 936 calories according to MFP. I might drop WW soon. It's just frustrating because I have avocado toast for breakfast and almost half my points are shot on…

  • This iTrackBites sounds interesting. Do you do both that and MFP?
  • Depression is so helpful, isn't it?
  • Yeah I cancelled mine today after tracking both WW and MFP yesterday and meeting my calorie goal with MFP, as well as the breakdown targets (carbs, fats, etc.), while in WW going 14 points over my daily allowance. I ate very well yesterday. I just thought that was ridiculous.
  • One interesting thing is that their recipes they suggest actually don't look that bad. However, they use a lot of reduced fat cheese and I'm kind of iffy on anything "light". It seems to me like those products are more processed.
  • Oh I wasn't tracking anything at all. I really think I was going through a bit of a depression and have just kinda given up for like 5 months. I thought maybe if I started anew with something new it would be a good way to start. Plus, on the surface this new WW program sounds good. Eating cleaner, better for you foods and…
  • I think you might be right. I work at a school and I had walked down the hall to visit a classroom and checked it when I got there and it said my heartbeat was in the 100's which seemed way off just from walking down the hall. Something is fishy.
  • Wondering this as well. I am very confused.
  • Oh honey. This is not a good time and that is ok and understandable. With everything that has happened it is not surprising that you are turning to food , which for many people fills a void or gives the illusion of comfort. It is ok to accept that and then forgive yourself for it. However, if you are feeling that icky it…
  • Thanks guys! I think WW was hard for me because I was so used to counting calories that I just didn't get the whole points system, especially after they converted to points plus. Hopefully this time I can stick with it and be better about logging every day.
  • I wish I had this problem. I don't know how to not go over my calories...not by a lot but 1200 is pretty darn low.
  • Where do you get a candy machine? Sounds fun.
  • I have to have two turkey days, one on Thursday and one on Saturday...yikes going to be tough but everyone will get through.
  • I know how you feel. I have fallen off the horse again this summer and I need to get back since I am getting married next summer. I do not want to be a chunky bride. Yet I can't stop myself with sweets and fattening foods. I know what I need to do, just like you but it is sometimes hard to commit. I think after I go and…
  • I completely fell off the fitness wagon this weekend also. I didn't go way overboard but enough to know that I won't be losing anything this week and this upcoming week I am going on vacation...not good for cutting back on calories.
  • now I am getting a smidge freaked out because I have been looking stuff up on webmd. I am a bit of a hypochondriac...I think it might be gallbladder or liver..YIKES. I am calling the doctor tomorrow.
  • I have had an ache in my right side, feels like it is right under my right rib. It has been an ongoing thing for about 2 weeks whenever I exercise...even lightly walking. As soon as I start walking I feel it. It is not intensely painful like other side aches I have gotten during running, it is just more annoying because it…
  • I have the same question and was going to post about it. I think I am over in my protein today by about 20. I didn't eat anything bad. I had some chicken, eggs, almonds, and granola that I think did it. I don't think it is bad. I figure as long as it isn't fat I am ok.
  • I was just wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good scale. I was cheap and bought a cheap one. Though it does the job I would like to upgrade to maybe something digital. Any recommendations?

  • One thing I like to do too with the shred is to turn down the volume and plug in my ipod where I have my "no more fat a**" playlist of songs. That kind of gets me more pumped during the video.
  • Thanks for all of your responses. Turns out I ended up doing what everyone recommended today anyway. I always take my dog for a 45 to an hour walk everyday, so I did that. Plus I just got a bike so I went for a nice bike ride. So I did do something. I just really thought there was something wrong with me since they say to…
  • So I did two days in a row of the 30 day shred and started to do it today and I could not. My thighs and butt hurt really bad. I kept trying to push myself but I think my body was just telling me to take a day off. Has anyone else had trouble with this? I really like the dvd and thought it was great at first but I didn't…
  • Hello. I have used myfitnesspal before and then stopped. I looked into a couple of other website like it and they all gave me different counts for average calories a day. This site allows me the lowest amount. They also log in certain exercises differently. I am just worried about making sure that I use the most accurate…
  • So I recently got engaged which has turned into an extra motivator to get in shape. However, I was just at a friends wedding this weekend and I was so sad because I just felt like I looked awful. Of course instead of getting my butt in gear I have just been tired and sad today. I did do an aerobics class but probably ate…
  • I actually like to run, I am bad at it and unfortunately have bad knees so it hurts sometimes but I love the way I feel afterwards. I found what helps me is to go to a gym that has tvs and watch your favorite show as you run. You tend not to think about it as much. Also a great playlist on an MP3 player helps a lot. If you…

  • Good idea abou the posting daily to keep ourselves in check. I actually went shopping today, which was not horrible...I had a smidge bit of hope. I unfortunately am of the pear shape family where my upper half does not look so bad, I can fit into mediums and what not.... My bottom however, GOOD LORD! So I just am avoiding…
  • Thank you for all of your responses. It is really hard isn't it? Part of my problem is that a few year ago I was working as a camp counselor one summer and it was really hot so I was constantly moving around and sweating so I lost like 20 pounds without ever really realizing I was doing it. Now I am no longer 22 like I was…
  • Hello. This is my first post. I am getting married next summer and of course want to look good for that but I also just want to stop feeling and looking like crap. My problem is that I know I have a food addiction and that I am an emotional eater. Everytime I eat something that I know I shouldn't I know it is bad but I do…
