  • Thanks for the tips! I love nuts, I just thought they're relatively high in protein, as I often read them as advice to get some extra protein in. Avocados are a good idea, I love them and hadn't even thought of how caloric they are.

  • Have you measured yourself instead of weighed. You're moving and lifting A LOT and you're running a pretty damn high deficit in calories. Either you're losing fat and gaining muscle (and muscle is heavier than fat) or your metabolism has slowed down from chronic undereating which means anything that estimates your burn…
  • I know this is a way old post, but I need some more friends who aren't starving themselves. If anyone could use an extra friend, please be mine ;) I started the EM2WL journey around August, have been doing really good up until the end of October when the massive months of holiday madness in our family started and I ended…
  • Thanks everyone :) super useful info. I've only ever logged when I've wanted to lose weight, but I have entered a typical day's worth of eating when I was gaining and boy, that was a lot of calories I was eating. I guess I better start believing it and figure out a better eating plan with enough calories because I'm still…
  • Been using it 2 weeks now and won't just jump up. I'm just completely baffled by the possibility of my TDEE being over 2500. And wanted to make sure it's even possible. I will keep on keeping my eyes on the averages :)
  • I've been changing my eating habits, hoping to lose some weight for 45 days now (after a couple years of not giving a crap about weight due to pregnancy, breastfeeding etc). 5 weeks on EM2WL approx with my TDEE figured at 1825 for the fist 3,5-4 weeks of that and since just over a week I increased to a TDEE around 2000…

  • A lot of things can influence when you ovulate and postpone it, not only stress, but medication (sudden crazy amounts like OD-ing) could also cause your body to delay ovulation. When you ovulate late, your period comes late. If your ovulation keeps being postponed because you do stuff to your body (stress, meds,…
  • Looking at your diary I do think your intake is too low. With the amount you exercise you should be taking in more calories. You're eating less than your goal amount without exercise while you're burning over 500 calories about daily. I do often end up under my goal, but never more than 100-150 cals under my daily goal,…
  • Oh my... really, your husband needs to tone it down a notch, but you do too. Buying "healthy food" which isn't satisfying for him and his dietary needs is not fair. Neither is throwing out your food. Eathing healthy does not mean you need to just buy diet food. It also means cooking from scratch instead of just buying cans…
