It's a huge difference from 30 to 45 minutes, personally I would have done first 35 than 40 and so on. But if you have the power for it and don't feel like you're about to die, you can keep up with the 45 minutes and do 30 on your "lazy" days.

Was your "bigger weight" just before you started active weight loss or was it couple months before? If first, you can add it, maybe it will motivate you more, but it will motivate others certainly. But if it was long before you started active weight loss, you could leave it out.
