I like to walk outside; I like to go to some place pretty like the park. The nature trails are my favorite. It's a very peaceful way to exercise; plus I don't get bored like I do on the treadmill. :)

Yes! It's not a problem for me... use it to your advantage to cut calories, and/or eat later in the evening when you have calories left to get up to your target.

I'm 5'5", 140 was my original goal weight but I like it better at my current 133; start lifting weights and you will keep your curves :)

yes! It happens to me almost every time. I get very tired and working out is harder. But good job on doing it anyway... I usually feel better in the cramp and mood department if I don't skip during that time.

I usually get soup to fill me up, EVEN THOUGH it is high in sodium and will make u bloat later, it will still fill you up with lower calories... then most places actually have a "diet menu" or a dish that is plain chicken w broccoli and you can ask them to hold the sauce on the side. good luck!

what do you eat in a normal day? have you tried logging with your regular eating habits and counting it? I am sure it is way above 1700 calories, because that is not all that much, I could eat that easily. My target is 1600 per day and you have 3 inches and 20 lbs on me (so you require more calories just to maintain…

I like the extreme milk chocolate alraedy mentioned too, however if you buy that one plus their banana cream and mix about 1/3rd choc to 2/3 banana you will get a GODLY shake.

Walk brisky, count it as your warm up and warm down. Definitely worth it!

after lots of procrastination and excuses and trying things on my own, I joined a gym. I really didn't know what I was doing, trying to use free weights at home. I take a group weight lifting class and honestly its the best thing ever. I was taught the lifts, form, safety, warm up, and doing it with other people makes it…

I seem to burn way more now because I have lean muscle mass that requires calories even when I'm not exercising. plus I just feel strong, so I enjoy working out more than I used to, so I do more of it including aerobic stuff.

did cardio, lost some weight, was tough to keep up, plateaued a lot, started lifting weights and the rest came off plus now I can eat more.

I love shirataki noodles. They taste a little funny. You need to boil them as per the directions and then pat them very dry. I got used to the taste very quick. Especially since it means I can have a whole plate of pasta w any kind of creamy sauce and even lots of chicken and veg and it won't break the bank.

I have heard quite a bit on this recently. Apparently the microwave degrades the nutrients in the food in some way. I have no idea if this is accurate or not. Reliable research has been scarce... I take my vitamins and don't worry about it. But just in case, I try not to stare through the window while it's cooking.
