Everything is allowed on mine and it still isn’t working right. Apparently MFP is only requesting steps and walking + running distance for me. That means the exercises aren’t getting pulled over and I have no clue how they’re coming up with the calories. Example: I’m set to Lightly Active. MFP estimates I burn 1891.…

It’s happens from time to time with all trackers. Usually MFP will have a tech notice about it in their help area. Edit: looks like there’s no notices right now, so you might just want to submit a ticket.
-
Leave it on your wrist and if the trackers app has the option log it.

Yep. I need those calories to fuel my workouts. Without them my workouts would suffer, I’d be hangry, and eventually I would end up eating way to much. I have no desire to be in a binge/restrict cycle that would make it even harder to reach my goals. MFP expects you to eat at least some of them.
-
I avgerage around 2000 calories for weight loss (total...not net...my net is usually between 1300-1600 depending on activity level setting). Remember that MFP gives you a low calorie goal because they expect you to eat at least some of your exercise calories. Also your rate of loss is another thing to consider. If you are…

My heaviest was when I was 22 and my goal was to get back to where I was at 19. Looking back I think I was starting to put on weight at 19, but was in denial about it at the time. I weigh about the same at 29 as I did at 19, but clearly there has been some body composition changes since then. Here’s less than a month away…

I do occasionally for a change of pace. The shuffle mode is great for fun cardio workout.

Are you doing any strength training?

Apple Health and Fitbit do not work with each other. The apps are not made to sync with each other. That’s why there are third party apps that will sync some information from Fitbit to Apple.
-
Oh I’ve tried a few before I got my Apple Watch and never had any problems.
-
There are some apps in the App Store that will pull Fitbit information and send it to Apple health.
-
Sometimes the adjustment takes awhile to update. That said I don’t think the sync between Apple and MFP works right. At least for me, none of my workouts get sent over and the adjustments are always (regardless of activity level on MFP) less than 100 calories. Yesterday for example I had over 10k steps and worked out for…

It’s not calculated based on your steps. It is a calorie burn comparison. So yesterday your Fitbit calorie burn was 998 calories higher than what MFP thought you would burn based on your activity level selection and today your Fitbit calorie burn is only 298 calories higher so far (though that could still change). What you…

Well done :drinker: I’m 5’4.5” and was 260 lbs at my heaviest. My after picture is about 138lbs. I have more pictures from various points in my journey here: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10257157/c-section-mom-of-2-my-progress-over-the-past-couple-years-lots-of-pics

Unless I missed it somewhere the OP didn’t mention what her life is like outside of exercise and without that information you can’t really guess what they would maintain at. I know that for myself 1700 calories a day would result in weight loss and I’m not much taller than the OP at 5’4.5”. It also looks like the OP is…

Sound like you want fat loss to reveal muscle definition. That will be eating at a small deficit or maintenance (for body recomp) and strength training with progressive overload. Pick a lifting program and lift what is heavy for you. Some good programs are: Stronglifts 5x5 Ice Cream Fitness 5x5 Strong Curves New Rules of…

Remember it is showing you a total calorie burn (including resting calories). Every 15 mins you will get XX calories to account for your BMR (resting calorie burn). These will be applied to your Fitbit account even if the device itself isn’t turned on. Any activity will add to that. So the calorie burn you saw was all your…

Sounds like your shoes are slightly to big. My mom had me wearing size 9 when I was in high school and that’s what I bought for years thinking it was my size. A couple years ago I actually went to a shoe store to get shoes fitted for running and it turned out I should actually be wearing 8.5. So I was wearing the wrong…

Are you using a food scale? In terms of accuracy eyeballing portions is the least accurate method of determining your intake. Measuring cups are better than eyeballing, but can still leave you consuming several hundred calories more than you think. Food scale is the most accurate method. Double check the entries you are…

If it’s in the chest or you have a fever just rest. You could prolong your illness if you stress the body further with exercise and possibly make things worse.
-
Body shape, body fat%, bone structure all play a part as well. At 120lbs I’m a 0-2. Losing another 10lbs would still be “healthy” weight according to BMI, but I doubt it would actually be healthy for my body type.
-
I lost over 120lbs eating my exercise calories.
-
It’s one of my favorites even if it is old.
-
Why not Body recomp? I am 5’4.5” and when I was 120lbs I was pretty tiny. I wasn’t 100% happy with it, because I lacked muscle mass. I am a bit heavier now, but focusing on doing more of a recomp. It’s very very slow, but I am losing inches and seeing definition that I didn’t have before (profile pic is 137lbs).
-
Now as a side note you might be seeing a slightly inflated calorie burn on Fitbit’s side if you’re RHR is higher than normal. You can look on the Fitbit app and see how often it’s in each “zone”. You might need to turn the HRM off.

Fitness blender is great SparkPeople.tv also has some fun/short workouts (they are all about 10 mins is better than nothing) There are free apps to consider as well like: MyFitness by Jillian Michaels has five 7 min workouts that you can do without a subscription. 30 Day Fitness Challenge apps (there are free and paid ones…

:flowerforyou: You got this. It’s 100% possible.

I had to have mine removed (perforated my uterus right before the 3 yr mark). I didn’t have any side effects after removal. My only issues with it in were low sex drive and of course the fact it perforated my uterus.
