It is often used for crash diet plans because it can result in fast weight loss. Diet companies make money off people wanting to lose weight as quickly as possible. It is around the minimum recommendation for women to eat for weight loss from medical professionals. Places like National Institute of Health say not to go…

If you don’t need the additional materials and just want the calendar/workouts, you might be able to log into the BodySpace app and pull them up. I am currently using BodySpace to track Strong Curves (not a BB program), but if I go to join a program all BB programs show up and I can add them to my calendar. Now if I want…

HRMs aren’t really accurate for anything outside of steady state cardio. I only get about 56 calories per hour of no activity from activity trackers. Now as for the 1200 calorie thing: - Are you sure you are picking accurate food logs from the database? Not everything is accurate and some are way off. - Avoid using “…

If you are talking about the exercise goal it doesn’t change your calorie goal at all. Regardless of what you put there it will always calculate a goal based on no exercise. Now you could include exercise when selecting the activity level, but that’s not what MFPs calculations are set up for. In this case you wouldn’t want…

If that was the case I wouldn’t have lost the 120+ lbs and would still be obese. However, I did follow MFPs method. Ate more when I was active and less when I wasn’t. Lost weight just fine and at a reasonable rate as well.

I eat them all. All the weight I lost was while eating them all. Eating them all has proven to be the most sustainable way to go about it for me.

I don’t think my face ever had any “sag” in it as I lost weight. Other places on my body are a different story though. My face then vs now:

Don’t wait to lift. It’s easier to preserve muscle than it is to gain it.
-
Not the greatest pics but this is what I could come up with. 2011 - around my heaviest weight 2016 - at goal, but disappointed with lack of muscle mass. I was lifting at the time, but it doesn’t really show. I just look tiny. 2019 - last Friday. I am a little heavier than the 2016 picture, but I think I am starting to see…

I was using an Ionic. To be honest I was disappointed because not all the features worked like they were supposed to. Just last week it actually became completely unresponsive. Fitbit is asking that I send it back so they can see what happened and they are going to send me a replacement even though it’s out of warranty. I…

I lost the majority of the weight I had to lose eating around 2000 calories total (not net). I’m 5’4.5”.

The watch does send exercise over, but the adjustment math is off. MFP looks for a full day calorie burn for the math there and it isn’t getting that from Apple. I actually can’t figure out where Apple gets the number it sends over from (it’s not resting or active calories). The problem with this comes when you have a…

Check with your doctor before starting anything. My last c-section I ended up having to wait 3 months for exercise. My incision started to open from just walking around the 6 week mark.

Some people download Pacer to fix the sync issue with Apple Watch and MFP. Basically the watch syncs information to Pacer and then Pacer syncs that information to MFP.
