  • I disagree with his calculator. If I consumed >2000 calories, my weight goes up, and I log chewing gum! I also do not take into account net calories. 65lbs. came off with no exercise all while consuming <1700 a day.   • When I've seen this discrepency, it's usually displayed in serving size by volume (cups). But in this example, do the math (divide the calories by the weight), it's the same calories per weight (approx. 1.5 calories per unit).

  • When I'm seriously watching my calories, I use plain Greek yogurt with honey. If I can add a few more calories, I'll add a scoop of frozen fruit with the honey. If I'm looking to have a heavy exercise day, then it's simply a scoop of protein powder.
