LOL! I also place my scale exactly on the same spot..like it makes a difference, huh! The things we do to syke ourselves.

I'm about to complete INSANITY and I definitely would recommend a HRM. I would average 135-150 HR but I think my monitor overestimates calories burned. I used Shapesense.com, I guess you could use the cardiovascular section to input your data and it would give you an estimate of calories burned. Good Luck!

Yeah, I have the same HRM...just don't trust it cause it's giving me close to 1000 cals..I'm currently doing INSANITY. When I use the Heart rate calculators from Shapesense.com, I usually get lower outputs from 600-800. Also make sure your calculating your net calories burned instead of your gross.

I usually weigh myself once a week, I try to keep it consistent so I do it every Wednesday as soon as I wake up. If you weigh yourself everyday you'll find your weight fluctuating, just from personal experience.

Well put! Learn to balance your workouts and meals to have a healthy life style.

Your HRM over estimates the calories you've burn, try using HRM calculators. I use Shapesense.com it provides more accurate info based on gender, weight, height, etc... http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-based-calorie-burn-calculator.aspx

Congrats! Keep up the good work.

Give it time, also try doing cardiovascular exercise's instead of weights. Don't rely so much on what the scale displays it's how your body feels.
