a. Roasting the veggies is another option. b. You could make chicken strips or shred it, put with the veggies and make wraps or tacos. c. You could try stuffing the chicken with the veggies too. Add some onion, garlic etc and make a stuffing. d. What kind of squash? If it is a kind you can stuff, you could…

From Cincinnati, but live in Indiana now. Same weather and there will be much to complain about in January-February I'm sure. Most of our family is in Ohio too. We are Bengals, Reds, Bearcats and OSU fans. Yes, we do live in Indiana. HA! Shout out to the Colts just because I should........

I make a ground turkey meatloaf. My husband loves meatloaf, but I prefer this healthier version used with turkey. I also like this because it is an easy stand-by and you can put whatever side with it you choose or have on hand. I tricked my husband once and he couldn't tell and liked that I was making an old classic a…

I totally agree too! When I was a kid I always had thick legs and NEVER wore shorts. The last two years I've worked hard toward toning my legs and losing weight. On my last vacation I wore shorts every day! And I even wear them around town now. That's because I feel more confident and have more self-esteem about my…

If I do go into the kitchen, I make hot tea. That fills my tummy and relaxes me. Other than that, I stay away from the kitchen. I prepare my lunch and all I need earlier on. I turn off the light and don't look back. I make sure that there is no need for me to go back in there late in the evening. I also tell myself, why…

I'd say beans are a great option for you. You can buy them in their natural state and cook them, or you can get them in cans and rinse them off (to get as much sodium out as possible) under water. Beans will fill you up and they are very versatile. There a lot of varieties too. Black, Kidney, Pinto, Great Northern. Oatmeal…

No way! I can hardly eat McDonald's anymore. After I eat food from there I feel sick to my stomach from the grease. And even the smell gets to me sometimes. :noway: You won't see me there

Yes, for sure! I have a mini doxie, so he isn't an everyday long walker. If I take him for a 10 minute slow walk then I don't count it. But when is ready to exercise himself and get his ears flapping in the wind..... then I count it!

Go Team 6!!! I need to hit the gym after work - can't wait!

Personally for me - I'm staying! No matter what  I was on here for almost two years straight and met my goals or close. I never "left" per se. But I stopped logging in and watching my food and then it went downhill from there. I need MFP and I love it. I wish I wouldn't of settled when I did. That is for me…
