Friends only. I love having the support from my MFP friends. It's awesome. Never thought about Public. Wouldn't matter to me... something to try I guess.

I totally agree with this! I'm going on vacation in a month, so I want to be tone as well. I'm 5'4" and about 133 now. I've really been stepping up on my weightlifting. I just moved up to 10 lb weights this past week and I feel I'm getting tone and strong quickly. I'd rather do a heavier weight and really feel it burn than…

I've noticed that the more I workout, the better I sleep. I'm a little high strung... So the workout really lets me put out that energy and allow myself to be ready for bed at night. And I love the way I feel after I workout and enjoy it, so that is my motivation to remind me that exercise (for me personally) just…

Mine are to drink more water, get more sleep, and bump up my strength training to 10 lb weights. I used them once last week for the first time. Now that I've switched up, just need to add more reps!

Beef roast with garlic, onions, celery and carrots and a can of cream of mushroom soup.

Fascinating point on this thread. I have done quite a few reports throughout my school years on this subject. I was always interesting in doing them because of my weight and height. I'm 5'4" and weighed between 145-160 most of my high school and college years. I was very inspired by the beauty of Marilyn Monroe growing up.…

Zumba for sure. I LOVE music, dance and singing. So this way I'd be doing what I love.

Do both for sure! Even those two aren't enough for me to keep losing. I mix them up with zumba, yoga, etc. Also, I add some weight training too, so I can keep my muscles worked while shredding from the cardio. It's nuts, but I must spice up my routine as much as possible to get results. It's a fun process though and…

I can't possibly choose  It depends on what is in season and the occasion. I love raspberries when they are on sale and blueberries, but I love bananas with my peanut butter. I love mango in smoothies... ah there are just so many great fruits!!! Oh, and I love avocado as part of a meal or to put with a sandwich... I…

Here is what I'm having today: Tuscan Tuna Salad in a Pita Pocket I got the recipe from eatingwell.com http://www.eatingwell.com/recipes/tuscan_style_tuna_salad.html The only items I had to buy last night were 2 cans of tuna and a can of great northern beans, oh and the pita pockets. I made up the salad last night and…

I've been doing a banana with a whole grain english muffin with peanut butter lately. I also like doing smoothies in the morning. Then I can drink it on the way to work. :drinker:

I lay out a dish and/bowl on the counter and it has healthy stuff in it like nuts, fruit, veggies, peanut butter. That way I see them every time I'm in the kitchen. I check out the counter first and start making my meals and/or snacks there. I hardly ever go into the pantry anymore. That's where we keep my husband's chips…

I'll send one!

I don't mind a cheat meal now and then. Heck yesterday I had three chicken soft tacos at the local mexican restaurant and some chips!! But I worked hard at the gym yesterday. I find for me personally, I'm happier with the end result and emotions, if I mix up a day of a good workout with a guilty pleasure. If did…

I went to a cardio dance class yesterday and the instructor did an entire song as an arm workout WITHOUT weights. My arms are sure feeling the burn today. We just moved in one spot and used our arms in "weight-like" movements and it was just like lifting. Was great!

I LOVE Yoga!! It has made a HUGE difference in my life. I only do it about once a week, and just that helps me. Depending on the yoga instructor, book, dvd, and your own participation; you are going to get a different "feel" after a session. I've done some classes where they instructor focuses on stretching more, or…

I love peanut butter, nuts and avocados. And I've also been on a SMOOTHIE kick the last two weeks. It's so easy to bump up that smoothie with lots of good-for-you foods like bananas, peanut butter, protein powder, flax etc. I had a 500 calorie smoothie for lunch Sunday. I really didn't feel like having a meal, so I had…

I had a spinach salad with mushrooms, tomatoes, homemade croutons, a hard boiled egg and a lite raspberry dressing.

I do lighter lunches. If I eat too much sometimes, it makes me a little tired. I usually pack a small portion of leftover from the night before. I also like taking salads and once a week or so I go to the local deli and get a turkey sandwich on wheat bread. Oh, once I did brown rice for a week. That was nice. I made…

Pop open your diary and let us take a peek  Maybe make a goals list for the week. It helps if I write down what I WILL do. Then I a more likely to do it. Try setting some short term attainable goals and go from there.

My favorite time of the day is when I get off work and get home. I am greeted by our little doxie smiling and wagging his tail. He reminds me that it's so great to be at home and with family. If only life were so simple for us as it is for a little sweet loveable dog. That's my time to decompress, get organized and…

Hi Kim and welcome! I'm totally addicted too. I'm on a 1200 calorie goal and I workout several days a week. I like having support on here and learning new info. I'll send a request your way. :flowerforyou:
