I love breakfast. My body wants something. I usually eat between 200 - 400 for breakfast, if I can. I mix it up with oatmeal, english muffins, peanut butter, smoothie, waffle and berries, ham egg cups etc. I used to eat cereals every morning, but they weren't doing enough for me. I try to have a fiber/protein breakfast and…

My new favorite is my "Oh So Berry Chocolate Smoothie" I think I posted this on another thread yesterday..... I'm going crazy over smoothies - I'm totally addicted! I had this one yesterday and thought I was in heaven!!! Soy Slender - Soy Milk Chocolate (No Sugar Added) 1 cup Kroger Private Selection - Mixed Frozen…

We don't care much for prepared burgers. Hubby likes using a lean ground chuck and I like ground turkey or a pork patty. We had loads of veggies and if I need more cals, I add avocado! YUM! I load mine up with tomato, spinach, mushrooms and onions usually. I try to find a multi-grain bun or roll. Sometimes I don't even…

Thighs!!! I want to them to look more muscular/lean, and they are still kinda weak. A lot of hard work, but I'm willing to pay the dues to get them.

These photos are amazing! You look so gorgeous - wow! What an accomplishment!

I'm a believer in "watch your sodium". Having too much sodium in my diet makes my fingers slightly swollen and just makes me feel "blah". I get this after Chinese food, high sodium Subway options or Fast food sometimes. Sodium is essential is small amounts, but something to watch out for in certain foods. I do stay under…

I'm on a HUGE smoothie kick right now! I'm still experimenting with new ingredients and getting ideas from MFP. My two key ingredients I purchased to use are a protein powder (for after workouts) and ground flax seed. This is what I had this morning. If you like chocolate and berries together, try this.... Oh So Berry…

I chose this one, because it's my new winter "going out" dress. I've always wanted to wear a sweater dress and never felt confident to do so until this year!

I like the old fashioned rolled oats with 1% milk, but less than recommended. I top it with a thawed berry mix, a little nuts (sometimes) and sugar free maple syrup. I really need to eat it more often. It's great!

I've gotten so hardcore about exercising that I want to do everyday. However, I think to myself.. I should take a rest day. So the last two Sundays I've not worked out. On the other days I'm mixing up my routines weekly with strength, dance, yoga, cardio etc. I think this has helped majorly. And throwing in the yoga class…

When I first started I didn't get it. Then I DID eat back my calories and I lost the weight. People were saying "But you eat all day long". Yes, I did. I ate/eat 5 "meals" a day. But I was burning off the fuel my body needed. Also, what has helped me this time around (started getting back into having a food and exercise…

Sure thing. The most filling foods are those with fiber and protein. High fiber fruit, veggies, bran cereals. Chicken, other lean meats, yogurt, etc. Oh, and beans. These are foods I eat to keep me full.

I totally agree! I hate to see that red number. I only like red numbers for fiber and protein. So I just took out sugar all together. I get almost all of my sugar from fruit. As long as I know, that's enough for me.

When I eat my back for days in a row, that's all it takes and I see a difference. I've been working out almost every day for the last two weeks and I've already started dropping. I'm getting in good workouts and eating my calories back. It's worked for me in the past and it's working for me now. My body needs the fuel and…

I've been experimenting with it this week and my belly is very happy. My parents who are in their 60s and 70s swear by it!!! They are pretty wise, so I took their advice - sure glad I did. I put my ACV in vegetable juice this week

ChanyRae's suggestion is a really good one! I like olive oil, lemon juice, a little salt and a little fresh ground pepper. Giada (from Food Network) uses that all the time. It's really good and so simple and light. Don't know if the lemon would bug you? :ohwell:

Wonderful post! Thank you! I've totally cut back on my end. I've gone from 2 packs a week to only smoking when I go out to karaoke. (Don't laugh.) I had one last night (the only day I smoked was New Year's Eve) for the past 2 weeks. And the one last night made me dislike smoking very much. I couldn't even finish…

I drink anywhere from 8 cups to 12 cups a day. I usually drink a cup of hot tea once or twice a day too. I don't count the hot tea, because I drink so much water as it is. :drinker: I think if you like sweet and low, then have it. Just watch the intake and be sure to log it so you can see with your other items for the day.…
