you could just log all your stuff in one big list. At the end of the day, just watch the totals. Just a thought.

I compete at a 6ft height class, and get to talk to guys who are far more experienced than I am, I'm talking 10 - 15 years more experienced than I am. None of them, start the beginning of their contest "cut" with low carbs for straight 16 - 20 weeks.
-
Closer to the contest yes, low carbing will dry you out better. But if you're more than 5 - 6 weeks out of the comp, there's no reason to go low low carb. Dieting should be like landing and airplane, nice and slow, if you try to land too fast you're going to crash and burn.
-
you are not wrong. But I do disagree because I've had experience with different post-workout methods (fasting 3 - 4 hours post-workout, eating slow carbs, high carbs, timing, etc.) what I find what works for me to recover a lot faster is the timing or fast absorbing proteins and amino acids, and timing the carbs. Prior to…

As a bodybuilder I would have to disagree with you. Big time.

BCAA's or Hydrolisized Whey Protein within the first 20 - 35 mins of completing resistance training. After the 35 mins then have your simple sugars and carbs in order to not waste your workout.

see a chiropractor. you may have an imbalance in your central nervous system which is distributing energy unevenly to each side of the body. It's very common.
-
ignore all the cardio equipment go straight to the weights. I find that the weights area is where most people feel intimidated first and try to stay away from there. Get in there first, then go check out the cardio stuff.
-
There's nothing wrong with getting the majority of your protein from shakes. Most shakes like whey isolate have far greater bio-availabilities than any whole food proteins. Therefore the more likely your body is able to utilise it for muscle protein synthesis as compared to something like chicken breast. The amino acid…

the 5 or 6 small meals a day thing to keep your metabolism fro crashing is complete bs.
-
Baked Beans salt reduced. proteins, carbs, fats all in one. And you don't have to heat it up or anything just crack it open and eat.
-
I wouldn't trust anyone or trainer to critique my form unless they have 'powerlifter' or 'bodybuilder' under their name.
-
If they don't disturb me then I got no problem with them. If they ask me to show them how to do something or spot them, then im glad to help.
-
if you don't wish to ask a trainer, look for the most muscular, ripped guy in the gym. chances are he knows what he's doing and most guys would be glad to help you.

one day at a time.
-
true. but not 100 oz. that is nothing. for most bodybuilders it is necessary to drink 1 gallon of water a day a a minimum.
-
i'm a nerd!!! hi!!
-
I have a 5 litre bottle. I drink 1 and half a day usually. It's not even a task, I don't have to think about how much im drinking. I've actually drank 15 litres in 1 day before which was abit over kill. I suggest you get one.

Everything except the Falafels. calories are not everything. macronutrients first,

in addition to what you're doing try High GI carbs post work-out. And of course if not already, stretching and maybe LISS cardio.
-
It would certainly help preserve muscle tone, and of course more muscle means a higher metabolic capacity, meaning you can burn fat faster. I would most definitely say a must to the post-workout shake though.
-
I workout as soon as I climb out of bed. I take 30g (1 scoop) of whey isolate as soon as I wake up and another 30g post-resistance training. Preferably I would like to take a Hyrolosite Whey but thats pretty expensive or BCAA's. In both instances I take the shake because of the quick delivery of amino acids into the blood…

BCAA's = Branched Chain Amino Acids (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine & L-Valine)

its not a diet. It's an eating structure that skewers all your calories to a particular time of day. For example a 8, 6 or 4 hour eating window. The time outside the window you are fasting on anything with calories.
