Sounds like you've been at a low cal diet for a bit too long now. I'd try to up your calories to net around 1800 for a few weeks, once you start losing again, you can cut a little farther but I wouldn't stay there for too long. You may even stop exercising for a couple weeks and see a decrease (but I wouldn't recommend it!…

I used to be a 38DD... Currently a 34B... =( Only thing I wish my body didn't change!!! (good thing I didn't take my doc seriously when he told me to consider a breast reduction a couple years ago!!!) "Lift Heavy! Run Hard!" =D www.facebook.com/jenaesmithfitness (daily motivation posts)

Currently.... It's my abs and arms :) I get asked/complimented about my physique almost everyday now and it feels great! It used to be my breasts... but my BF% is so low now that I went from a 38DD to a 34B.... EEEKS!!! Toooooo bad I can't tell my body where to drop the fat! lol!! :drinker: "Lift Heavy! Run Hard!"…

You will never be able to get exact numbers.. example: because I didn't eat the last bite of my food, I should subtract 10 calories? While this does make sense, I don't think anyone should be obsessed with the numbers especially that minimal. I never log my coffee (with cream), olive oil/butter, and I generalize most…

My addiction as well.. I drink 5-10 cans a day! I tell myself I should cut down.. :/

I've always tell people to only get a gym membership after you've proven to yourself that you can keep the routine.. (saves money too if you end up never going to the gym).. Walk 30min everyday for 30 days.. once you can do that. You know you can keep the routine, plus you then can "earn" your reward of a gym membership. I…

Oh and this is sort of the dream for both my BF and I so it's nice to have full support! :)

In the future, this may be a possibility, but for now, I want to think about the "baby steps".. get the certification, start part-time as a Personal trainer... go back to school and get a second bachelors.... get more into a niche market maybe.. then maybe open my own gym... :)

Yeah the full NASM program (with 3-day workshop) is $899..

I agree that long distance running and heavy strength training (to gain muscle mass) are at odds at each other... Do some reading on what your body goes through for long distance running.. how it will use muscle for energy. Now running long distance once in awhile will be good for endurance, but heavy training with many…

That's cool.. I'd rather not do the "cheap" ones cuz I think ones who just kind of want to get into it would be more apt to do those.. spending a little more cash also feels like I'd want it more, and I would hope get "more bang for my buck"

Nope! I feel right at home.. there aren't very many girls there but there are some! If your not sure what your doing, then it can feel uncomfortable, so ask one of the gym employees for demonstrations or research on www.bodybuilding.com which gives videos and descriptions of every exercise out there. Get out there and do…

I love cheese.. I eat it in moderation, just like everything else!!

Wish I could change the title.,. lol oh well. it was early in the morning.. :)

It really helped me, because it made me realize how good I actually feel! Like I could do anything I want if I put my mind to it.. So many goals I could achieve because "I did it" not because it was "handed" to me... :)

AMEN!!

I lift super heavy (I bench 60lb dumbbells, traditional squat 200lbs, etc) and I'm not bulky! You don't have the testostorone in your body to produce "man" muscles.. The huge body builder chicks use hormone therapy and/or steroids.... So LIFT!! I run 4-5/week for 20-25min I lift 4-5/week for 45-75 min =D

You know that feeling you get when you did something when you didn't think you could? Well a little more "push", will get you that feeling every time :) "Lift heavy! Run Hard!" =D www.facebook.com/jenaesmithfitness (my new FB motivation page)

If your craving, it's usually because you're lacking something. Is there a chance your lacking potassium? If your feeling hunger.. try steaming/stir-frying (my fav is minced garlic and soy sauce over any type of veggie) a cup or two of veggies.. You'll be full and satisfied. I never felt satisfied after raw veggies, but I…

Carbs don't only come from grains! I tend to stay away from "proccessed" foods.. At least limit them. I eat a lot of chicken and veggies (carbs!) and eggs.. staples of my diet.. but I do lots of different things with em. Veggies are the best thing to help fill you up and help you stay full especially paired with protein..…

Just a couple months after I got serious.. but you have to be "close" because of course I had to lose my fat first.. which took about 2 years. This year, I kicked into high gear and really focused on what I put in my body.. I work abs 1-2 a week but still "tighten" em almost every workout.. by that I try and do some plank…

I agree with everyone.. but why don't you try striking up a conversation? or put yourself in situations where you may be easier to talk to?

awwww! I love being able to motivate! it's amazing how much the feedback others give me motivates me to push my self further, which then motivates others.. A great circle to be in! =D

If I'm hungry, I eat. Nothing like working out and getting hungry mid-workout and not having the energy to give it all I got at the end. With that being said, if it's only 30 min away from working out, I try and eat "light". As eating too closely to working out may give you stomach cramps with that food sloshing about. If…

Weight lifting. Nothing like being able to accomplish something, and being able to beat that accomplishment again. There is always a new challenge. Same with running... I can push myself harder, faster, farther... =D
