Wow! Awesome job! That's not a large time frame and you made a lot of progress during that time! :D

Hahaha! Well we all have a beginning, middle, and and in progress. Wish I had a bit more "middle" pics, but I wasn't comfortable with myself for a long time. Still doubt myself, and seeing others keep working helps a lot! One of my favorites was this one:…

I flavor all my water with propel zero packets.. but you can put fresh fruit into jugs of water in your fridge to get different flavors as well.

I have to have my 3 scrambled eggs every morning. Sometimes with green peppers, onions and/or broccoli mixed in. Sometimes with 1/2 cup of oatmeal on the side. But always my 3 eggs :)

Good for you!! It doesn't matter what anyone looks like, we all tend to have insecurities and believe others will judge us but in reality, it just doesn't happen that way. We end up judging ourselves (usually very harshly I might add) and miss out on fun opportunities to enjoy life. So kudos for you and what you've…

Running and Lifting kind of work against each other... especially if you don't have the correct nutrition to back it. Double check your macros on www.iifym.com.

Hilarious!

Hahaha! I guess so! It all depends on where I'm at.. In my family, (and all but one friend) I am short.., I have a few acquaintances and colleges who are shorter and it feels weird to stand next to them!

My mom admitted that it was probably her way of "raising" me that caused me to gain a bunch of weight. She was the type who could eat anything and "appear" healthy and skinny.. She said she'd just feed me juice and cookies when I was a toddler. Large portions and 2nd/3rd helpings were normal growing up. The one thing that…

You are almost complete opposite of what I believe in. A good "diet" is something you can maintain for life. Yes, a little strict at first is fine, but most people can't stay this way for life. Take small steps and let your body adjust! That way when you get to a plateau, you still have plenty of tools in your belt to…

Since I'm in Contest Prep (1 week and 1 day away!!) I have to cut out foods, which I normally enjoy in smaller portions. After my Contest, we get a "cheat" meal which we plan out. I'm having a cheeseburger with fries, and a cinnamon roll for dessert! Woot Woot! :)

I went to the gym, worked chest and tris. Did 60 min on the stairclimber (I'm less then 3 weeks to my Ms. Natural Minnesota comp so there is extra cardio right now). Went home and prepped food since I travel for work. Went tanning, made a 3 hour drive to my next work site, been chilling for about an hour at the hotel, but…

Best advice: Never judge progress on a scale. ESPECIALLY Day-to-Day weight. :flowerforyou:

LOVE Instagram!! I'm @graphicsquip :)

Cutting basically means you are trying to lose only body fat while maintaining FFM (Fat free mass). Ideally you could keep building muscle while cutting fat, and that means the scale would stay the same, but your body fat % goes down..

Also, a burrito can be healthy, but it depends on the types of ingredients and how it's cooked.. (a Mcdonalds breakfast burrito is not very healthy, but I bet I can make one at home that is! :) )

There are people that have smoked cigarettes their whole life and are 90+ years old.. Would you recommend smoking to people? There are different kinds of fats, carbs, and proteins. Looking at just the macro nutrient as a whole, they look equal but they are not. He's also missing out on a lot of micronutrients,…

Fantastic work!! You look great!

Do you even lift? Selfies can help encourage people (and it's nice to see the pics of muscles all pumped up) My warm up is 10 min on a cardio machine What I don't like: People sitting on equipment on their phones oblivious to the world around them People using 4 sets of dumbbells when the gym is packed Not wiping…

I've heard good things about New Rules of Lifting and Strong Lifts 5x5. I make my own routine, and it varies each week. I tend to be on a rotating 5 day split and break them down into: Quads, Calves Chest, Triceps Shoulders Hamstrings, Glutes, Calves Back, Biceps With 1-2 rest days each week, depending on when I need them.…

My highest weight was 180, My lowest weight was 128. Just got over my off season bulk phase, and added 15lbs. Now back into onseason, I'm back down to 140, and hope to stay around 130-135 for competition. :D I started with only running, and did a lot of it. Lost about 25lbs, hit a plateau. Started weight training (and kept…
