I'm glad you had a meeting with your family and a decision was made to refocus. It's easy to get stressed out with all that you have going in.

I'm a binge eater also. I'm doing better, but still a work in progress. I'm taking it one day at a time. I wish you the best. Sending a friend request.

I'm a worrier by nature. I used to lose sleep many nights and I became so stressed out it made me sick. What you have to realize is that you only have the power to change yourself. You can begin by looking at your situation from a different perspective. What are the things you could change that would make your life less…

Congrats on your success! I'm always looking for motivational friends. I'm 5'1"at about 138 pounds. Looking to lose about 13 more pounds.

I checked out your food diary (well the last three days of it) and if they are any indication of how you are eating daily, I really don't think you are eating enough. Sounds counterproductive to weight loss, but there are so many posts on here about eating enough to lose and different sites that you can visit to help you…

My motivation is that this is a journey and not a diet. I have no end date. I just want to be the healthiest I can be. And, even though I have a goal weight ticker I realize that I may or may not get to that specific number, I will continue.

If you could open your diary so that we can see it, we may be able to give more insight into why you might be gaining. Could be the types of food you are eating, an underestimation of calories, not enough calories, an increase in water consumption, and/or the birth control. I know that when I increased my water…

Congrats on your 50 lb milestone. You should really be proud of your success.

You are amazing and such an inspiration to others! I wish you the best.

Random times throughout the week. I record my weight once a week. If you can handle the natural fluctuation of weight throughout the week, I don't see a problem with weighing more than once. If seeing the numbers go up and down will affect you in a negative way, I say stick to weighing in only once a week.

WOW! You look awesome!

It's nice to see people with small goals make progress too. You look fantastic. I hope once I get to my goal, I'm then able to tone.

Wow! You are really an inspiration. Keep it up. Can't wait to see an update when you reach your goal..

Thanks for sharing your inspirational story! I've just been jogging for about a month and today I just increased to jogging nonstop for 35 minutes.

I had a similar story. Lost 25 lbs before baby, gained 30 ish, lost most of it, and gained it all back. I've now lost 25 lbs and am working on the last 10 lbs. For me it has been challenging to keep the weight off. It's as if my body just wants to go back to where it was at the height of my pregnancy. I'm determined though…

I'm 5'1" and my goal weight is 130. I could be smaller according to weight and height charts, but it's so hard for me to maintain anything below 128. I'm also in my thirties and I've noticed that age combined with having had a kid is making it harder for me to lose and maintain a lower weight. :/

Way to go! You look great. Best wishes as you continue your journey.

Similar situation here as well. I've been on and off the fitness track since I got pregnant 2 years ago I have between 10 and 12 pounds to go and motivation to eat right is my biggest challenge. This time I'm making friends with people on here to be motivated to stick to it this time and also to help motivate others.

I'll check it out. Thanks!

I'm not on any specific program, but I have about 10-12 pounds to lose. I jog/walk everyday and also enjoy eating out.

I was on mfp a while ago and didn't really reach out for friends. I lost motivation and gained back some of the weight. I would like to lose between 10-12 pounds and the support of others would help.
