  • 4/1 --142.4# 4/8 -- 143.8# Loss -- +1.4# Carbs under 20g Net Not too bad considering I went over my calories 4 days - significantly, like up to 2200. The rest of the days I was under my 1310 goal, not by trying, just not caring. I did keep my Carbs under 20 net all except Easter, they creeped up to 33. Still having trouble…
  • This is me. Even when I am full I still find myself looking for something to snack on. My mom is the same way... and so is my daughter!
  • The Bacon Wave Taco... a little labor intensive.
  • What I have heard is not that it is bad, but only doing cardio is not enough, it does burn fat, but strength training is needed to add muscle and balance out your exercise program.
  • No so great, but not horrible. I ended up with 35 net, 15 over my goal, but recoverable. Fat was a little low... that darn turkey! Although I was 975 over my calorie goal... Im not looking at that for April!
  • Alright, I will try it.... Starting Weight 142.4# Carbs under 20g Net I actually haven't been eating as much the last few days because I am not hungry. I'm trying to pay more attention to when I'm hungry and not just because it is a routine. -- Or when I am reading!
  • This! The first time I could feel the seat belt on my hip bones was amazing!
  • I don't know if it is weird... but I did have a new coworker ask about my lunch. Another coworker said responded by telling her I follow a weird 'food thing'. 2 eggs, 1/2 avocado, 1 tablespoon mayo & salt - the best!
  • Congratulations to everyone! It is so hard to stay motivated that long! I am right there with you @Baconslave I have 17 more to go!
  • I love that! I try to remember to say Don't and not Can't when talking to friends. I think if you say Don't it gives you the power, because you have already made the choice. I love it!
  • Don't worry - I got a little teary-eyed typing it!
  • You are already aware of the situation -- and that makes it all the difference in the world! I would take a varity of low carb snacks, so you aren't tempted by the carbs. I find a slice of cheese can do wonders. I would also suggest calling the hotel to find out if they do have a fridge in the room. My man and I recently…
  • This: The absolute BEST NSV is that my daughter can wrap her arms all the way around my waist when she gives me a hug. That feeling is better than anything the scales can offer.
  • @KnitorMiss I tried your cream cheese/coconut oil/butter fat bomb - I added a package of Sugar Free Jello -- Amazing!
  • pickles and cheese is the way to go :)
  • That is very true.... I should have mentioned my calories are set at 1310, although I sometimes go over, I try not to eat over 20 total carbs a day. Thanks for the reminder!
  • I'm not sure if you are in the US but I use Bobs Red Mill for the Flours, Almond, Coconut, Flaxseed etc. They are at Krogers, Food Lion and Martins where I am. For the Liquid Sweetner I use Smokey Mountain Sweetner -- I have only found that at Food Lion. Agave is pretty common, but I don't use it anymore. I have found it…
  • @Jazzine1 I am not 100% sure about that - maybe if your fat isn't high enough. I am sure others will chime in, but the idea of a keto diet is for your body to stop burning carbs for energy-- and brain functions -- and start burning fat. My brain seems to work better on fat. :)
  • @KnittorMiss -- Thank you :) I do most of the cooking as well, and my family is usually happy with what I cook. My hubs love all the meat, and cauliflower. My daughter is 6 and can be tricky! If you guys are on Facebook Follow DJ Foodie - Awesome recipes plus they announce when the books are free! I as well am good at…
  • Keto is considered 5% or less for carbs, 75% - 80% fat and the rest protein. I follow 5/75/20

  • Pricking my finger!
  • I have this problem occasionally, but not very often since I have been doing low carb for so long. My hubby tries to follow it, and keeps his carbs down, but not what I would consider low. This probably sounds really mean -- but since I have been eating this way for so long, if he makes me something I don't approve of…
  • I filled out the form and left the insurance number blank. Mine was delivered yesterday.. but I am scared to try it out!

  • That is so awesome! Congratulations!
  • Yes, I do have the problem. It is worse on the weekends since my time isn't structured time sitting at a desk - and I need my hands to type. I can watch TV with out a snack, but I don't tend to watch a lot of TV. I love to read, and I have to have something in my hand when I read. I try to think before hand and make a cup…
  • Yes, it is all a part of the process. In the very beginning I could predetermine my weight loss -- it was about 1 pound a day, then 3 or 4 pounds a week, and then up, and then down.. and now I am really really happy if it is a 1 a week. I got fed up with the ups and downs personally( I weighed every day for months), so I…
  • I plan on making this tonight (Sans salsa). It still has some carbs do to the spices ibreatheimhungry.com/2013/02/10-minute-no-chop-low-carb-chili.html But I bet those little peppers she shows would be awesome wrapped in bacon! Edit : I totally misread your post. I think if you butterfly a chicken breast and then beat it…
