QUORN IS AMAZING (on again off again vegetarian who hasn't tasted a good meat substitute since Sanitarium stopped making BBQ links). Taste the chicken-esque quorn, that's where it's greatest strength is. Also, I think sometime in the future when no one can afford to kill animals to live anymore, we'll all be subsisting on…

In a 3 year old relationship, very infrequently, be lucky if it's once a month. I lost my libido first, then he lost his, I've since gotten mine back and been shot down many a time. FEH. Makes me wish once again that the sex thing could be a bit more separate from the relationship thing (ie being able to indulge in those…

Very simply curry. dice onion, lightly fry in olive oil, add curry powder (or spice as you see fit), dice carrot, celery and green beans (or cut more chunky, doesn't matter) not too many though, let's say, one carrot, one celery, 50g of green beans, add these to the onions and lightly fry, add some water (enough to simmer…

Theoretically, bike riding should be ok, it's meant to be low impact. Try it, stop if it hurts. And yup, boxing/punching/waving your arms around will get your heart rate up and is certainly better than nothing (just feels unco to me).

My mum did this for a bit to try and ease the pain from her arthritis. I think over all, she found it very helpful, but expensive and time consuming. Why should you do it? Because the food tastes amaaaaaaaazing! More details would be rad (cos I'm too cheap to pay for a consult).

My 2 cents is - benefits to the heart, probably neither here nor there. Benefits to weight loss, totally dependant on your calories being a little lower than your TDEE so depends if you want to eat more or not. I was going nuts with the exercise for a while there but I've really eased off now, doesn't matter if I miss a…

I think the crux of this starvation mode thing is not in how effectively you lose whilst 'in it' but how rapidly you put weight on once you start eating a more normal amount again.

Jillian gets me with those 'fast feet' ugh, I HATE them! (Did succeed in doing the 30 day shred though). Can't wait to try fit in 90. Any others floating around? Keep these suggestions coming (the more variety, the less boredom :-D ). Thank you for all the suggestions so far.

I was doing an absolute killer amount of exercise for a while a few months ago, Turbofire, bike riding, walking (love Turbofire) and I lost a nice bit of weight, but I was also jobless and commitment free. Now I'm working from home which is a blimmin pain cos every little thing distracts me. I'm still keen to exercise but…

I've had a couple of boyfriends who, left to their own devices rarely eat. I think they have become good at ignoring their body's hunger signals. I both cases they've inadvertently eaten more in my presence simply through my constantly getting hungry and sending us on food missions. So, inviting your guy to eat with you…

Don't have an solid ideas as to why this is happening but if I were able to see your diary, there may be some clues in your diet.
