Go to settings (waaay top right), go to change fitness/diet profile. There's a drop down menu near the bottom where you can select how much you want to lose/gain/maintain.

I agree, toning up and looking fine. I bet you feel stronger too :-)
-
That is an awesome topic idea, can't give you any info or anecdotal evidence but bumping this for others to see.

Less is more, takes me over half an hour to catch up with what everyone's been up too over a 10 hour period now, the one's I care for the most might well fall through the cracks if I run out of spare time.

Hello, fellow South Australian :-) I'm doing that challenge too but haven't actually engaged with it (I remember getting some kind of email, was I meant to do something with that?! Oh well, maybe next week).

Kinda, everything that I put on it (above and beyond the operating system and software). Documents, Cakewalk sessions, audio, pictures etc etc etc.

As long as you are under goal, it shouldn't affect your losses, doesn't mean you shouldn't keep tackling changing your eating though, most healthy foods taste amazing to me (in fact, I got fat on them), persevere, you'll acquire a taste for them.

And stretching, the aching should be steadily less severe the more you workout/recover

On a semi serious note, somehow obtain the first season of Monkey Magic and watch it from start to finish. The father Buddha says "only a man who wants for no thing can stand in the middle of the forest and be happy". (This extends to us women too of course but possibly may not be able to overcome depression brought on by…

I dunno, you said yourself you aren't over your allowance. Maybe with all the misinformation about food and weight loss flying around, you've come to regard some foods (like the cookies) as 'illegal'. Great thing about calorie counting, nothing is illegal anymore, just has to be eaten in moderation. If you're still feeling…

Oh yes please an example would be fantabulous hehe yes, glamorous and sexy, not very profitable though (unless I become absolutely ruthless).
-
Don't know what food related problems you are having (maybe inaccurate tracking meaning you eat too much, maybe not eating enough) but I can suggest you do TurboFire, I found myself losing the most doing that work out series.
-
Yeah, you can get 100s of recipes that way, but that's no guarantee they taste good. At least by asking on mfp, you get the filter of human experience. Bump.

I spread the shred out over about 35 days, stopping when I was sore. I wasn't paying too much attention to weight or inches but I came out the other side stronger. That really sucks that you broke bones doing it, good on you for having another go.

*squints at the familiar face* Is that Trent Reznor?

What's not to love?! Rocking Hippie :-D Also a sucker for long hair

The point is, the vege calories are negligible and if counting them discourages you from eating them then you should stop.

hahahahaha LOVE

My 2 cents, she shouldn't have asked. I wouldn't lend the money (or give for that matter).

Start doing HIIT training (Turbofire is Full of it), get some weighted gloves (I've been meaning to/same as running with dumbells, just more idiot proof). Edit: There you go, two advocates of HIIT. I think the gloves are more something people use when doing aerobics.

I'm doing Ripped in 30, happy to do the mutual accountability thing.

Heh, I'm not at the moment but I know plenty who are, guys and girls.
-
From a girl's perspective, yep, this bugs me a lot, to the point of anger sometimes. Just once, Once can we please have a protagonist with a bit of chub, doesn't have to be heaps, (although that would be fine too), just sick of only ever seeing healthy BMI girls on the telly,

Nah, don't be put off. In order to build muscle, you have to put it under stress, when this happens, the muscle fibres get torn all over, in a good way (they are small rips, big ones would be problematic). As the muscle heals, it grows, thus giving you bigger muscles and more strength.
-
Log the choc, I bet it won't amount to much. Also, are you eating your exercise calories back?
-
I think it's shorthand for shred your muscles, what happens when you do strength training :-)

The lack of CGI and cheesy acting was part of its brilliance (out of work Shakespearean actors anyone?) along with good story telling.
