Sorry I haven't been posting. I've been traveling most of the month. One more trip this summer in mid-August, and then I'm home for a while. I've enjoyed going new places but I'm looking forward to staying put! My eating hasn't been great either.... a little afraid of stepping on the scale. Hope everyone else is well!

Why did your co-workers laugh?? I have problems with salads because of some medications I'm on. So I take 1.5-2 cups of frozen (unsweetened) mixed berries and a container of 2% fat plain greek yogurt. I leave the berries out of the fridge for the morning. @jltheis7 has some good practical tips! My tip is an emotional one. Try not to think of following your plan over the weekend as an "all or nothing" thing. Just because you don't stick precisely to what you intended, remember it's not the end of the world. You'll have a chance to make a better decision at the very next meal…

My one goal is to log each day. I've gotten out of the habit, and I've picked up a few pounds. Logging has been a pillar of my success, and I have to keep reminding myself that it's worth the energy and emotional stamina!

If you're looking to boost your calorie count, you may need to up your protein. Adding more veggies -- while always a good idea -- won't add many calories. Are you also limiting fruits?
