I have noticed that since I started changing my diet, my nails have become weak. My calcium intake dropped with my changed diet....I am even going to 1% milk to try to make up some of the deficit I started to take Calcium supplements with Vit D everyday. I also bought a multivitamin but do not take it every day.

I started at 1200 a day but would get to eat more calories when I exercise. I do not think that the program will go any lower than 1200 unless you change it. 1200 a day does not seam like a lot at first but your body will get used to it. When I reach my target weight I will increase it

Are you exercising? Maybe you are gaining muscle weight. Maybe if you are drinking more water this is adding to it. When do you weight yourself? Melissa

I have totally become obsessed over the calorie intake and also feel that I am making MUCH BETTER choices about food. THe amount of calories I used to eat was BAD!!!! I do not feel that I am starving myself at all. I eat when I get hungry. However, the only drawback now is when I look at foods, I think of calories...I hope…

Oh...I think then all I can send would be the shortbread ones. The peanut butter (do si dos) will get squishy and the chico chip, well it speaks for itself Melissa

Thanks for the info... I never considered that the calories burned from normal daily activity would go down the more in shape I get.::ohwell: I will have to take this into consideration in analyzing my goals over time.:smile: Melissa

I started out at 154 (considered overweight according to the BMR) and I am at 147.5 now (boarder line healthy). This may have something to do with it but you would think that since I have been walking for 4 miles per day 5 days a week, my metabolism would be better (increased). I am so confused. Melissa

I just checked my "goals" and noticed that the number of Calories Burned From Normal Daily Activity went from over 1,720 down to 1,690. If I am exercising more shouldn't the number go up? Why did it go down? I feel like it means my metabolism is decreasing which should not occur if I am exercising more now than when I…

I have had over 100 boxes in my house the past week as my girl is a brownie too. Eating 4 Samoas was about 300 calories.....I envy the days of ignorance. I only have 10 more boxes to get rid of. I live in Chicago and am experiencing the same weather conditions. It was -3 two days ago....and that is without the windchill. I have to admit the snow is getting old but is burns calories to shovel. Melissa

What about using Splenda in my hot tea...is splenda the same as asparatame? I thought I was doing better by drinking decaffinated tea with Splenda and not Equal/SweetnLow... am I wrong? Melissa
