I 2nd this! FYI: I drink a big coffee every morning. I use chocolate coffeemate and real sugar. Everyday. Not kidding. My coffee every morning is about 200 calories and I factor my daily food with that already taken out. I have lost a lot of weight and I would not be a tolerable person without my coffee with all my…

Be Careful is all I will say. I was obsessed as well and I have met my goal. I am trying to switch to maintaining instead of losing and it is difficult. I had blinders on for my goal and now I feel like I am a little lost sometimes. Just a heads up.

I would be mentally unstable if my house was anything like any of their houses. It is absolutely HOARDING! I am what I consider a anti-hoarder. I don't throw away things I need, but I have no problem getting rid of things that I don't need. I saw one where a very overweight lady bought 150 Butterfingers becaue she had…

I struggle with this soooo bad. I usually take about 1 day off about every 3 weeks or so and that is only because my husband really insists on it and gets on my case about it. I just feel like my whole day is off is I miss a day. It's a weird mental thing for me. Having said that, I am a very intelligent person. I know…

Thank you very much for this!

Thank you all for the replies. I am the "income" working parent in my relationship. (I consider us both "working" parents.) My husband and I were having a discussion today about what he should be doing at home(since he is there all day) and what I am supposed to be doing at home(as the one who works outside the home all…

I think it is difficult to look at yourself and really see what other people see. I have lost a bit and I wear a size 6 and I still see places on my body that need to be improved. My husband thinks I am nuts. Also, it took about 50lbs before other people started to say anything to me about me looking any different.

It sounds incredibly ignorant for someone to say that exercising at any time is pointless. That just doesn't make sense to me. That is like saying, drinking water at night is not good for you but if you drink it in the morning it is really beneficial. Work out when you can and when you can fit it into your schedule.…

I am in the military and I am a wife. Does that count? I have been in the Navy for 5 1/2 years and have been married for almost 5 years. I have 2 kids and I am currently stationed in Japan. (Of course I would be station here when the worst earthquake in the world happens) We are ok though. Nice to meet you all.

You are absolutely stellar! My jaw seriously dropped when I got to your after picture. I Actually pulled the guy next to me over here who knows nothing about this so I could show your pictures to him. Even he said that you look like a new person. Amazing job!

My tip is to not worry about "problem areas" when you start out. Just start exercising. Lose from everywhere and worry about toning later. Also, don't cut ANY specific item out of your food intake. Just learn to control yourself and eat in moderation. Cutting specific foods out only makes you want it more and makes losing…

I don't usually gain, but I almost always stagnate. It is very frustrating.

By law in America, all places that serve food have to have the nutrition information available if a customer asks for it. So, when I go to eat, I usually ask for the info and they bring it to me in a binder or what have you. Sometimes it is on the wall. Sometimes I am referred to the establisment's website and all the info…

It seriously took about 50lbs before people started saying things to me. I didn't buy new clothes for a long time and the fact that I had lost weight was hidden behind baggy clothes and uniforms. When I started to wear clothes that fit, lots of people noticed.

I HATE THAT PHRASE, WORD, OR WAY OF THINKING WITH A PASSION!!!!! Sorry, but I feel very strongly about this. Cheat is a horrendous word that makes it seem like what you are doing is wrong. It is not wrong to eat sweets, sugar, desert, cookies, brownies, chocolate, or any other food that is considered unhealthy. For the…

You should maybe read my blog. I talk about this in there. (In detail)

I noticed after about 10lbs. It seriously took about 50lbs for others to say something to me.

This is my opinion! I want others to be successful as well and I want to help. Please take this constructively! I get really really frustrated when I read certain comments like this. I am going to try to explain because I really want to help. What do you mean you took a day off? Of what, life? You should not be on a diet,…

The only time I every intentionally go over my calories is the times that I got stuck at a certain weight for mor than 2 or 3 weeks. I would go over on purpose for 1 day, then go right back to being strict. Being strict is my normal. I really have to try to go over and I don't like it.
-
I wanted to add that that is not at all a tiny victory. This is huge. When I got into the "normal" range for the first time, I cried. Congrats!

I am so grateful to all who took the time to read my story. I hope I am able to help a few people. I also want to thank everyone for the…
