Thank you soooo much everyone for your wonderful comments about my story. I am extremely glad that I can inspire people. I had no idea that when I posted my before and after that I would effect people this much. I don't know what else to say. Thank you again. I am going to stay on this site and hopefully it will help me…

I wanted to add that i agree with this. I wasn't trying at all to offend anyone with my comment earlier. When I first started, I had many, MANY workouts at 3.0/3.5. I certainly wasn't trying to say that 3.0 wasn't a work out. It absolutely can be!! Work at your pace and you will do great!

I wasn't saying that she had to meet anybody's standards. Certainly not mine. She was asking about jogging at 3.0mph. The OP even acknowledged that they thought it was slow. I was agreeing with them.

3.0 is not jogging. It is not even walking very fast. My opinion is that the slowest jog is 4.0 at least. Personally I consider 6.5 a jog.

I actually like American Idol this year. They have more contestants that can really sing than they did last year. ....However.... I agree with you about JLO. She loves everyone and everything. It angers me whenever she talks. I usually turn the channel. Steven always sounds akward. Like he doesn't know what to do or say.…

I remember going to my husband jumping up and down when I became "overweight" on the wii. I was very excited. :)
thanks will keep you updated. how long did it take you to reach your goal? wheres the pictures? i'm so nosey lol
I started this losing weight journey on August 4, 2010 at 251 and today March 20, 2011 i weighed 155. My goal is 150 and I am being stubborn and forcing myself to hold out on the before and…

I started in middle of the obese range at 251lbs. At that time it felt like such a long journey. Keep working hard and you will get here too. Good luck!!!

I have gone from an 18 stretch (probably 20, but I couldn't bring myself to go up a size) to now I am a 6/8. I think I noticed it first around the 20lb lost mark.

It was really scary. At first we thought it was just another tremor. We get them all the time. But, this one just kept escalating. We evacuated outside and the ground was shaking so hard we couldn't even stand up. We were squatting holding the ground. All the power went out throughout the country so I had to run up the 9…

I think you should try it for yourself, but for me, I did not like it. I gained weight in the beginning and it wasn't that hard. I did all 3 levels, but I stopped after a few days. I went back to my normal exercise routine. I am finding that my opinion is in the minority on this site, but all the same, I didn't like it.

I weigh myself before and after every workout everyday. It is honestly how I tell how hard I worked out that day. On an average day for me, I lose 1 - 1.5lbs. A kick *kitten* day for me would be anything higher. On days when I am sick, but still work out I lose less that 1lb. I weigh myself all the time and I do daily body…

You look awesome! I know what you mean about seeing the difference in yourself though. It can be a difficult thing to wrap your head around.

My son's preschool teacher asked me what I was doing to lose so much weight. I told her I have really gotten into running. I run a lot almost everyday. She said, "Really, you aren't doing the grapefruit diet?" I told her "No, there really isn't a magic button. I actually work hard."

I have had Mirena since after I had my 2nd son. Everything that is on my ticker was lost with mirena in. I love it. I actually hardly ever even think about it. (which is nice)

It is enough to lose weight if you are eating healthy. But if you eat unhealthy enough it doesn't matter how much you exercise.

I agree. I get encouraged when I see people starting out in the gym that I go to. I talked to this larger lady on the treadmill next to me and helped her with how to move her arms to help her balance. I know when I started this I was 251lbs. It was embarrassing to go to the gym, but we all start somewhere.

I live in Japan and it is Monday morning here. I am watching it at work here on base.

That song, "This is why I'm hot..." It truly shows the ignorance of some people. The grammer is offensive. In the song he says something to the effect of, "I don't even have to have lyrics in my songs. You people are so stupid you will buy it anyway." I know that is not the actual lyrics, but it is basically what he says.…

Not logging it doesn't change the fact that it happened. If a person doesn't want to face what they eat, then in my opinion, they are not ready to change it. (Sorry, I am of the tough love mentality.)

I gained weight doing that for the first 4 days as well. I also thought that the program was pretty easy. Stage 1 and 2 were especially easy. Stage 3 was just ok. I was very upset with the weight gain and I made a post about it as well. I stopped it after day 4. It wasn't a challenge for me and I was gaining weight. I went…

I went from a 18 stretch (was probably a 20, but forced myself in the 18 stretch), to a size 4/6/8. It depends on the clothing item. I didn't buy any new clothes for about 4 months after I started this. I KNOW that I could have but I didn't want to buy clothes and just have to buy more later. I wore very baggy clothes for…

93lbs?! Are you trying to gain or lose? Or just get in shape?
-
Even if you are the last to finish...Who Cares?! Just do it for the exercise.
-
If you are running to win, probably not going to happen. If you are running it for exercise and for fun (which in my opinion is what you should do) I say go for it.

I was getting dressed in the women's locker room and the lady about 2 lockers down put her panties on up to her knees and proceeded to put a panty liner on right next to me and then pulled up her panties like it was normal. I was very weirded out.

I also want to comment on the question about what you should log. My personal opinion is not to log anything that you don't feel for yourself it is a workout. If I get done planning on the kinnect with my son, I maybe burn 100 - 150 cals, but it would never occur to me to log that. I only log my dedicated workout time.…
