  • I've asked Starbucks employees before and since the eggnog flavor isn't from a syrup, there is no "skinny" or sugar free syrup version. Wish there was a way to cut back the calories from 450 (for my "pumpkin spice latte" I do a grande americano with 2 pumps SF vanilla and 2 pumps pumpkin spice and it tastes awesome!) but…
  • In a totally different and probably uncommon perspective, I'm one of those people whose diary consistently shows under 1200 calories, with days I exercise showing way less net than that. I think I am the exception to the rule on this, but who knows? I am pretty strong in my anorexia recovery (been out of treatment for 18…
  • Another loss. Don't know whether to be morbid and happy or logical and concerned lol Last week: 118? CW: 116.2
  • yeah sorry, typo. 2g not 20
  • I weighed myself Sunday so this is my Sunday weight... CW: 118
  • In case anyone was interested, I am making an appointment with my school's psychological services tomorrow morning. Enough people have been seriously concerned about me that I realized it has to stop. I need to get help before I get worse. Thank you everyone; I truly and deeply mean that.
  • I've been to therapy before as well for non-weight related issues and am a psychology student, so I would never mock someone for suggesting counseling, or post something that is really hard on me just to get attention, or think that anyone is jealous of me or anything like that. I was just further hurt by the people who…
  • and because it's April 1, i MUST be making up how I'm feeling and not battling with something that has been a huge issue for me the last two months :frown:
  • when you purposely cook elaborate healthy meals to get more "cooking and food preparation" minutes :)
  • 8 wk SW: 121 Wk 1 Weigh-in: 119.5 I lost track of exercise but I know I passed 200. I passed that today alone! haha I love how cooking burns calories (yes I'll admit to making a really elaborate healthy dinner just so that I burn off more caloreis)
  • @ boy who is making you feel bad about yourself: *kitten*! but I know exactly what you mean. Every single time my guy breaks things off with me, I feel ****ty about myself because I feel like he doesn't care about me enough even though he says he is only ending things because he can't treat me the way I deserve to during…
  • Yield: 2 servings (serving size: about 1 cup) Ingredients 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise 1 teaspoon curry powder 2 teaspoons water 1 cup chopped skinless, boneless Grilled Lemon-Herb Chicken (about 4 ounces) 3/4 cup chopped Braeburn apple (about 1 small) 1/3 cup diced celery 3 tablespoons raisins 1/8 teaspoon salt Preparation…
  • obviously not eating is never a solution lol exercise like crazy for a few days and you should be back to normal soon. BUT EAT!!!!!! :) a binge every once in a while is not the end of the world. in fact, i'm kinda jealous you were able to do it lol
  • wearing warm layers and starting out with mild stretches first can take the place of a warm up in a pinch too. most of the time i neglect cardio warmups but i never go without sweats to stretch in and i rarely pull muscles
  • besides the obvious "stretch more" statement lol when you do stretch, drink at least 8 ounces of water before hand and stretch in sweatpants and sweatshirts, even if you are stretching post-workout. a quick five minute cardio blast before stretching also helps loosen your muscles so you can get more out of your stretching…
  • I'm terrible. I seriously have had the same thing for breakfast every weekday since the beginning of fall quarter haha same exact omelet and a mini bran muffin. If I make oatmeal on the weekends, I try and find new toppings once I get bored of the old ones. RIght now is a teaspoon of peanut butter in my instant maple…
  • This is a small and probably pointless thing to write, but it isn't something I can talk to anyone about so I'm posting it on here. I think I have BDD going in both directions. I'm always feeling like I'm not thin enough and still eat like I am trying to lose weight; at the same time, I am PARANOID of someone mentioning my…
  • weighed myself this morning after a meal and two full days at disneyland....and i'm the same!!! I know we are supposed to lose weight but maintaining after a trip to Dland is an accomplishment for me :)
  • look on cookinglight.com for your own healthy recipe version :)
  • SW as of 3/20: 121 GW: idk really. Until someone forces me to stop? Lol I'm going to Disneyland for a few days so 200 minutes of walking will be easy! :) let's do it girls!
  • that is pretty much exactly what has been happening to me. I started with one goal and it just keeps getting lower. And lower. And lower. But I still see weight to lose. I keep telling myself that I'll be smart enough to stop before I reach the underweight BMI, but I'm honestly not sure that that will happen.
  • @econn: omg i know! the menu will list "steamed vegetables" but last time I checked, steamed veggies werent drowned in butter or oil! and the only salad dressing we have that isnt cream based is...pure balsamic vinegar. I'm just grateful that we have that and I like it haha
  • I'm so lucky that our school posts nutrition facts most of the time, but it's so hard to find something low cal! If I even eat in the dining halls I end up having a salad and a veggie patty, and I'm not even vegetarian. And my roommates wonder why I find dining halls more stressful than finals haha
  • I'm right here with you guys. I'm down almost 30 lbs, and I know there is a little bit of a difference, but I haven't seen one since 15 lbs lost. The people around me are all saying I look really skinny (some have gone as far as saying I look emaciated...great friends huh? :frown: ) but I still want to lose more!
  • If you like cooking, try cookinglight.com. they have a feature where you can type in an ingredient you like and a bazillion delicious, healthy, and often really easy recipes come up. i'm kinda addicted to the site :) if you like oatmeal cookies, the recipe everyone in my lab is obsessed with when i make them is the heart…
  • That's what I do...I weigh once a week down at the gym on campus. But that is more a necessity due to not having a scale in my room and not being able to afford a good one yet. Otherwise I'd be the obsessive person who weighs every morning lol
  • Hey fellow college kid! I have the same problem: no scale, no money, and no amount of convincing will get my parents to buy one for me. Until you get one, check your school's gym for one you can use. It's a bit of a walk to mine, so I only use the scale in the locker room on Sundays before my dance class. It helps tide me…
  • for me, i eat a little bit of really dark dark chocolate. the 70% cacao or higher stuff is really rich so you won't want to eat a ton of it, but still gets rid of the chocolate craving. and it's actually healthy for your heart :)
  • Hometown Glory Adele (ps. buy her new album...its amazing!!!!)
  • Possible? Yes. Healthy? No. If you are going on a vacation, chances are you won't be eating as healthy as you do at home (that's why it's a vacation! Indulge a little!) But if you do a quick detox beforehand, you'll end up gaining more weight than you would have if you just kept maintaining 130 and working through the…
