Eh.. I don't know how much I fully agree with telling your partner that they need to lose weight. If my fiance ever told me to lose weight, I would be devastated and embarrassed. I think that being hurt can make a lot of people work towards their goals so much faster but, not me. I would sit and I would SULK... all day…

WOW! You truly are an inspiration, I'm so glad that surgery has worked for you. Thank you for sharing!

Welcome to my fitness pal. It's great to hear your positivity and your determination. I hope that everything goes well for you and I hope to get a friend request as well :)

I actually found this website when I was about 37 weeks pregnant because, I was SO ready to lose weight. I had my daughter on the 20th of December and I lost all of the weight that I had gained during pregnacy (30 pounds) and than I posted my "start weight" when she was about a month old... I have lost 8 pounds since than…

It seems like (from the pictures) that you are much smaller.

You sound like a great girl...woman! ;) You quit smoking all on your own, you can lose the weight that you don't want or need anymore. It's just weighing you down! You are beautiful and sound like you know what you want. Just think about the results and how you could feel in the long run. I have 92 more pounds to go and I…

Don't give up... no matter how frustrated you are. I am just starting my 100 pound weight loss (92 to go). In the beginning, I had a really hard time finding meals that were low enough calories to be able to eat more than 2 meals. Now, I realize that I don't need to eat BIG meals at all anymore. Here are a few options-…

It's great that you keep an open mind. Those 40 pounds will come off with a lot of determination and encouragement. You can send me an add if you want a friend for support! Good luck!

All that they are saying is that 1200 is the proper calories that people need in order to survive and for their bodies to function properly... If she's eating 1200, burning all of that off and not eating it back- DANGEROUS! MFP told you and so are 3 other's on MFP.

I'm getting mixed answers here as well... I was walking a week after my daughter was born and doing well. At my doctor's appointment, they told me that I was perfectly fine to get back to exercising and start losing weight. I know that it's high intensity but, I am not worried about seriously injuring myself.... I am…

What an incredible story! You look amazing.

I try to remain a very positive person and find a "reason" for the things that other's say which actually ticks a lot of people off but, I am going to try in this situation as well... hopefully it will give you new light on what your husband could possibly be saying.... Is it possible that he is happy with your weight, as…

Anyone else?!

I agree with asking a proffessional what they think would be most flattering for your face shape and what color best suits your skin tone! Good luck!

It couldn't be more simpler than that!!!!! Thank you! :)

I started at 244 and a size 14 (squeezed). I haven't tried any new pant sizes yet but, I am now down to 237 pounds. I am trying to get down to 144 and I will continue to go strong. I would love to get some adds from you guys for motivation! Keep up the great work!

It's true, they tested them to the max to see how much they wanted this weight loss. I was so proud of them for pouring the orange juice on everything knowing that they wouldn't again want to eat that! I really like the show because, they make them work their butts off, they do lose weight and they have great workouts but,…

I have actually been wondering the same thing and I was thinking about starting up weight watchers again. I have never tried to combine the two but, I think that weight watchers is a fantastic program (as is MFP) and they might work well together. There is a weight watchers group that has weekly weigh-ins, information and…

I am around 240 and starting tomorrow.... I wish you the best of luck. I haven't seen or heard success stories for the higher numbers but, I'm hoping that all goes well.

I hope that this helps you. I wasnt able to read all of your previous replies though so, I am sorry if this is similar to what someone else said. I was on WW about 2 years ago and I lost 40 pounds. It was a great program but, it should be with how much it cost me. It didn't make sense that I needed to pay to lose weight…

Everyone really is so helpful and supportive on this site. I already have depression and seeing myself in a different light made it worse rather than better. I deleted the pictures off of my phone but, I swear to keep them on my profile and computer in order to work towards my "new" body. I can't wait to compare pictures…

You look FANTASTIC! wow! Do you mind sharing a few of your favorite exercises?

How sweet of him! It sounds like he did a wonderful job of helping you get through what you were feeling. You're right, mirrors do lie. Sometimes our eyes lie to us and we see ourselves completely different than everyone else sees us. It's a sad but, true story. I am 40 weeks pregnant, so I know that I teared up at this…

Look at you! :) Awesome work, congratulations!

All of the congratulatory replies were very appreciated. Thank you. I am going through the midwifery program and my midwife is helping me with my weight loss. She told me the amount of extra calories needed, how many I should have been eating before and how many I should have when I have my daughter that will help me lose…

THAT'S INCREDIBLE! :) Good job!

You have come SO FAR! Look at the amazing transformation! You're beautiful and with hard work and determination, you will still get into ONEderland, just take it small steps at a time. Congratulations!!!!

Your profile picture looks awesome! Good job! :)

Thank you. Walking will be awesome for her and I. It's going to be bitter cold here though (It's already snowing pretty hard today) so, we might have to walk around our local mall in the early mornings or at night. Whenever works best for her. I am excited to be able to walk again and be up on my feet. I have gained so…
