MFP gave me 1540 to maintain but I have been eating around 1700 to 1800 for 6 months now and have maintained with no change in weight...I'm wondering how far I can push it lol

I lost my weight eating around 1300 - 1400 cals I did not deprive myself of anything...chocolate etc As long as it was in my calorie allowance I ate as I wanted. I have now been maintaining my weight for 6 months on the same rules Good luck to you and don'tdeprive yourself

Hi if you follow the advice from the above poster you won't go wrong, I am 59 have lost 17 kg and have never felt better and I have never deprived myself from food I love. Good luck to you you WILL succeed.

No I don't care about other peoples diet or weight if they are happy with themselves, although I don't believe they really are. I do care about MY diet and weight because I feel absoloutely AMAZING and love my life now!!!! And in the words of "forrest gump" ......that's all I have to say about that.............

Hi there, you will get some good avice here from people more qualified than me, however I can tell you I haven't given up anything at all to lose my weight, I just make sure I stay within my calorie allowance and the rest takes care of itself. I was never a soda drinker, but to be honest I haven't given up anything...just the amounts I was eating of all those things. I still have everything I love but in moderation.????

I totally agree with the OP , I have also lost my weight purely by watching my calories...I have not changed my diet at all except for the amount I eat...I still have my chocolate, cake and cookies whatever I want! For me it's all about calories in and calories out.. I refuse to spend my life eating mushed up cauliflower…
