Hello! Name's Tiana. Started my journey at 310lbs while I was 8 months pregnant with my baby boy. Had a gallbladder attack that put me in the hospital. Was told I had to go on a low-fat diet of <20g of fat a day until I could get it taken out... That was November 25th, 2012. A week ago, I got my gallbladder taken out, but…

Plateauing is natural. Try doing a different form of cardio. Some people us the teetering method to break through a plateau (eating less calories one day and more the next). There's a BUNCH of difference ways. You just need to find one that works for you. Good luck!

I get it all the time from my brother. I think he just pokes fun, because he really doesn't think that I'm going to go through with it. Since he isn't supportive, I don't do anything with him that contains food. If I end up going somewhere with him and he offers to buy me food, I just tell him that I ate right before…

Lol. Me too. Kept reading "go to the doctor and get on antibiotics" and then finally decided to skip to the end and try to explain that antibiotics don't cure FUNGI! I can't stand when people think this. That's why we have so many bacterial infections in the world that are resistant to antibiotics.

Not single, but hell... why not? Count me it! I hate V-Day anyway.

I use Unsweetened Vanilla Almond milk and a little 0 Calorie sweetener. Tastes like ice cream in my opinion. My husband even admits it tastes better when I make it for him. Maybe you aren't getting enough fluids in it to properly mix it well, or maybe you aren't mixing it enough. It takes awhile for it to desolve.

^ What they said.

When I gave birth to my son, I had to get an epidural and it didn't hinder my weight loss at all, but I was put on a strict low-fat diet the month beforehand, so maybe that is what helped me.

Tuna, salmon, sardines, mackerel, anchovies and trout are a few more common oily fish. Basically, any type of forage or pelagic (live near the surface) fish will do.

MFP will automatically change your goal when you lose 10 lbs. If you want to be in control of it yourself, you can change however often you feel like it, but I suggest only doing so every 10 lbs or if you hit a standstill.

Yes I did. Thanks for correcting it.

I back this post 100%. Just a little add-to, your biggest meal should ALWAYS be your breakfast. Breakfast jump starts your metabolism, if you skip it or don't eat enough, you're cheating yourself. Make sure it's healthy, though... 100% whole wheat cereals, eggs, veggies, nuts... etc. One of my favorite weight loss saying…

You are correct. As long as you consume 500 calories a day under your BMR, you will lose 1 lb per week. What's more than likely happening, is that you're eating too few calories, which is putting your body into "starvation mode". Try increasing your calorie intake slowly until you start losing weight again. Remember, if…

Does it actually say 1200 on your daily limit, or are you going by when you finish your journal entry and it says that you're consuming too few calories? Because at 5'3" 250 lbs, 1200 is WAY too low of a limit. I'd say change it to 1500-1600 for awhile, you'll still lose the weight!

That's normal. You're supposed to snack between meals to keep your metabolism up. I used to eat only once a day as well, and that was at night. Now, I find that once I started eating breakfast everyday, that I'm eating every 2-3 hours. This is a good thing. If you aren't getting hungry, it means that you aren't burning the…
