It wasn't when I looked. Would have been helpful.

No, but "lawn care" isn't a activity listed in the MFP system and I didn't have an HRM at that time. It wasn't as strenuous as chopping wood and more than light cleaning. But to say that everyone got fat cleaning is wrong. Some people DON'T do daily chores. My point is, just because it's a daily activity for one, doesn't…

I've logged cleaning before. You try breaking down a tree for over an hour at a time. This was not something I do on a daily basis, but occording to your reasoning, " cleaning" isn't exercise. Have you ever been over 300lbs? Do you know how hard it is for some people to do certain activities that you deem as "daily"? No.…

I'm in! I need something to motivate me to clean my house! Mom, wife, full-time worker... I definitely don't get time tos clean. And any physical activity is exercise... no matter how small! I'll shoot for at least 4 hours a week. I can't promise daily!

Ideal weight for a woman at 5'10" is 148-175lbs (that's my height). Anything lower is considered too little fat.

5'10" 268lbs Bust - 47.5 Waist - 42 Hips - 49.25 I have a Spoon figure (hips come out fast from waist not gradually).

If you can't do it, modified is better than skipping.
-
Technically yes, but you have to understand that if you modify them too much then don't target all of the muscles they are intended to.
-
This was my problem too. I weight every single morning as a reminder to myself that I'm doing this for a reason.

Caffeine isn't bad for you in moderation. It actually is proven to boost your metabolism. ESPECIALLY green tea, which contains 30-50mg of caffeine per cup.

I count anything I make at HOME with water as water, ie. a hot cup of tea, green tea, coffee, etc. If I were to get it somewhere else, unless it was pure water, I wouldn't add it. I definitely wouldn't add all liquids as water, especially sodas, because it's not all water.

As long as you're under your calorie goal for the day, it's not really too big of a deal what you eat. If you like the cream, keep it. In all honesty, trying to overwhelm yourself with so many changes isn't always the best. Of course, when you're able, stop the fast food. It's got too much sodium in it, which makes you…

I want to point out that I didn't mean for that to sound rude. Lol.

I'm going to disagree too. I live in Illinois, and find that I spend WAY less money on food now that me and my husband are eating healthier. The main reason is because, even though they might be more expensive, healthier foods stretch MUCH farther! 100% Whole Grain bread might cost $1 more a loaf, and has less slices in…

They only recommend eating 15-20% under your TDEE, which includes the amount you exercise. Just so you don't deprive your body. You need the fuel.
-
Says you didn't eat enough, because you didn't consume over 1200 calories. If you have your exercise calories figured into your calorie goals already (meaning your activity level) you don't need to eat your calories back from exercise. If you have your AL set to sedentary, you should eat them back. But not all of them,…

Not going to lie. I was forced into this diet. First I was pregnant, which meant that I needed to cut caffeine out of my diet... so there went my coffee =( Then I was hospitalized with abdominal pain, that turned up being my gallbladder failing. FUN TIMES THERE! So, I was put onto a low fat diet because you can't have…

I got my hair cut short and it made my face look so much bigger! Irritated me.

Search up "TDEE" on Google. It will answer all of your questions.

THIS! Or hot tea.

Same here.

THIS "if you're trying to lose weight you need to know you weight to know a general range in which to end up in." ^ Also, if you're trying to lose weight, how will you know you're losing it without knowing how much you weight?!?!

I've lost 40lbs so far... don't know if I've went down a pant size yet. I have what they call a "Spoon" figure, so I don't think I'll ever be in single digit pants... and that's fine with me. I don't really like wearing jeans that often because of the dreaded muffin top. I know I have a pair of 22s that I wore home from…

You should try to consume at least 70% of the calories that you're burning off during exorcise. If you're burning 1000 calories, add 700 to your daily goal. You should NEVER cut >30% of your TDEE from your diet. Here's a thread with some more information:…

I set mine at 1770 for this week (I adjust them weekly based on my TDEE at the time). I try to keep in control of my own limits opposed to allowing MFP set them for me. This way I know better as to what my body needs. I hardly ever actually get up to my goal, averaging about 1400 kcal a day (on hiatus from working out due…

I just had my baby boy on December 18th. On November 25th, I was put on a low-fat diet for a failed gallbladder and could only consume 20g of fat or less a day. I was 310 on November 29th when I saw my ob/gyn, and when I left the hospital December 19th after giving birth I was 293; that's -17lbs in a little over 4 weeks…
