Sorry, didn't know which forum to post this in!
I haven't had a period for a couple of years now. Blood tests and dieticians have ruled out hormone issues or eating disorders. This is leaving me with a low body fat % being the cause, although I am not sure exactly what my body fat % is, having had results from 14 - 23% dependent on the tool used! I'm pretty lean so I'd assume it's less than 20%, but not sure if as low as 14%.
Anyway, for a while (? time) I have also suffered from a loss of libido, to the point now where I feel I might need to see my GP about it. But before I do that, is there any chance the two things are linked and an increase in my body fat could get everything back to normal? I have tried research online but not come up with anything that particularly relates, most articles relate depression and/ or eating disorders, neither of which I feel are relevant to me. Has anyone else suffered with this? Have you found the solution? Any advice appreciated! xxx

Yup, I certainly have. I do have an eating disorder, but my doctors said it was most likely because my weight/body fat percentage was too low. I gained some weight and now I have no problem :] there really was no other solution other than gaining weight for me.0

Back when I had an ED I got down below 110 lbs. and my period went away. As soon as I got above the 110 it came back0
