  • Welcome back!
  • I understand your response. Most of those connections aren't around anymore. They just haven't deactivated their accounts.
  • I do support my friends and don't use this feed as a place to vent, post on news, social issues or whatever. I also find that annoying. But, transitioning and starting hormone therapy meant major changes in diet intake and I also wanted the pronouns used when I publish my diary to change from "his" to "hers". I didn't feel…
  • Many thanks to the three of you wonderful people. <3
  • Happy to have new friends. Been on MFP a long time. Day 2027 logging for me.
  • Yep. Saying anything else is just overkill. It's changing your life.
  • No worries. Life happens and you just have to make yourself stay in the Zone for when you're healed up. And think about things that you can still do. There's always something. After I had knee surgery and had to stay off my legs for several weeks I was still able to workout with hand weights while I was sitting. It doesn't…
  • Day 1203 of logging here for me. I'd be happy to be an active friend for anyone.
  • I would say log it as today and not short change yourself for tomorrow. If it's not too consistent it shouldn't be a problem. That said, eating late at night is never a good idea in terms of getting descent sleep. So, you might want to start tracking when you get the late night hungries and log what you did/consumed that…
  • I've had several FT7's. Even with proper maintenance of the chest strap they wear out eventually. I guess you can only stinky sweat up the strap so many times before it resigns. However, I recently replaced it again and the chest strap has been redesigned and no longer requires the same maintenance. It's a huge…
  • There's nothing wrong with white rice. But brown rice is nutritionally superior. Here's a couple good reads on it. http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=128 http://www.fitday.com/fitness-articles/nutrition/healthy-eating/the-difference-between-brown-rice-and-white-rice.html When all else fails, A-1 sauce…
  • Absolutely. People fly in from Europe to see the guy that founded this place.
  • Hurts. Lots. Unfortunately, mine had a lot of green in it, which is really stubborn. I've had five sessions and everything but the green is gone. About four or five more to kill that off, but I'm taking a break from it. I'll for sure finish it off eventually because the random green just looks like I'm moldy. There are…
  • I hear you. I hated it too. I hated it with a passion. But, after enough time even I became addicted. Now people have to force me to take rest days. Hang in there. It WILL get easier. It WILL become a need. You can do this.
  • Hi all. I've met my goal a couple years ago. But, I'm definitely a lifer. I want to continue to log and track so i don't backslide. I'm happy to support anyone that wants a new friend here. Just fire off a friend request and I'll be in your corner.
  • Turn it in the way I found it.
  • I'd love to be friends. I lost 120 pounds. But new muscle negated some of that. I've been in maintenance for a couple of years now. I don't intend to leave MFP. I don't trust me without having the numbers in the diary and the friends I'm accountable to.
  • You're 5'3" on a good day?? I've had my weight fluctuate. I've retained water or not. I've even occasionally been constipated. But, for the life of me, I can't remember a time my height fluctuated.
  • Just checked out the web site. Looks a WHOLE lot like Planet Fitness, which I'm a member of. The "no judgment" theme keeps it accessible to people at all levels of fitness (or journey to it). I love my gym. Honestly, can't think of a con. If they're similar you signed up for a good thing.
  • I've had the Tofurkey when I was vegetarian. It's okaaaaaaay. I like the turkey loaf from Quorn a lot better. I haven't had the one from Gardein yet. But every other thing I've had from that maker came closest to the real thing.
  • Killer Klowns from Outer Space Plan 9 from Outer Space Love Me Tender w/ Elvis Presley
  • Thank you for this. Stories like these keep me on the path. After two years, "Great job!" sounds like a weak reply. But seriously, GREAT JOB!!
  • Sweet!! It'll feel so good to donate them. =)

  • I don't know the science of why it happens, but it's definitely true from my experience. Like you, I have a hard time getting going in the morning. But, when I do get a workout in first thing there's a huge difference in calories burns on my Heart Rate Monitor. Pretty much if I work out after work I'll average in the 6-7…
  • 1. For over a decade I have been confused as to how Jessica Rabbit and Roger Rabbit ever hooked up. That **** does not make sense no matter how you slice it. I thought Roger Rabbit was a waste of time except that I went to it with the "oh so effing sexy J... J..." (Name omitted for respect.) 2.. Donuts: a food group in and…
  • Love the smell. Hate what it is. Never touch it.
  • Married to the girl that just broke up with me.
  • Trade in the man card for a "real man" card. It's for your little girl. Dude, it's all good. I raised three girls. I've been to concerts so "sweet" I got cavities just buying the tickets. But, I wouldn't have given up the experience for anything.
  • I don't have this issue. But, I can certainly appreciate and respect how huge this milestone is for you. Keep on going. Just keep on doing what you're doing. You're awesome. Heck, I'm proud just to comment on your post.
