OMG I shudder to think. Biker bar for sure

She's not trying to lose weight. It seems it was just a rhetorical "let's make the MFP monkeys dance" question.

I would much rather be outdoors, which is why I have a hard time forcing myself to go to the gym to strength train rather than going outside for a run.

Are you talking about leggings, as in fashion leggings? Because runners wear technical fabric leggings but we call them running tights LOL. I know, confusing.

I agree. OP, I would suggest you simply enter it as having walked 5 miles at your current weight, not including the 30# munchkin. The additional calorie burn isn't worth the brain damage required to figure it out. Chalk it up as a bonus in getting you to your goal weight faster.

Ugh. I am still getting over an upper respiratory infection, so I feel your pain. Don't stress too much about how much you are eating. Focus more on your hydration and rest. Your appetite will return.

Oh and people who just about get run over because they're paying more attention to their phone than traffic, then flip the bird to the driver that almost hit them. Apparently I have a lot of anger towards phones.

Seems a bit high to me.

Allow me to translate: that was sarcasm

People who talk on their phone while they're ordering or paying for something at a restaurant or store. Put. Down. The. Phone.

My son. He's energetic and full of life and I want to be able to enjoy that zeal with him.

Valid point. Bad wording on my part. We are scared of crazy people WITH guns FIFY

Not sure if what you experienced is perhaps breaking through the wall? I sometimes have a similar sensation, when it takes me about 5kms into a run to feel like I've finally broken through the wall and all of a sudden I feel like I'm speedy gonzales. During long runs this might happen more than once.

Interesting question. Lugging a 30# child for 5 miles should count for something.

If you're at your wit's end, that's a good place to start. Use that frustration as motivation and don't let anything stand in your way this time.

My advice is to be patient. Take the first two weeks to get your bearings on MFP and become comfortable with logging. Don't be too hard on yourself for the first couple of weeks while you adjust to the learning curve. This can seem overwhelming at first but eventually it will become an every day habit.

+1 agree with all of this.

How much do you need to lose?

I'm surprised you weren't advised to take a probiotic with your meds. That's pretty standard. And kefir is gross. Although it beats having someone else's poop transplanted into your body.

Did anyone watch today's episode on Lupe? Wow.

Vancouver (the Canada one LOL). Do I count?

Cold pizza is one of the best things in life. Why would the weight be different when it's cold?

To answer your question, it becomes too much when it's no longer sustainable. That's why fad diets and/ or working out like a fiend do not work. It sounds to me like you are teetering on the brink of having a problem here. Avoiding social gatherings and investigating laxatives is not normal behavior. Are you tracking your…

800 calories? Wow. Sounds a lot like Dr. Bernstein here in Canada. Medically supervised VLCD. I had two friends on it. It cost them around $750 a month. They both lost a lot - weight, hair and fingernails. They also gained it all back when they could no longer afford it and went off the program, having learned absolutely…
